• My waitress.
• The host desk needs to know more than empty tables, wait staff avail.

“Love the Chicken pot pie and cheese fries. Went last weekend early before the evening crowd. Remembered why I hadn't been there in a long time, not the line, the hostess desk doesn't know which sections are open. After being seated quickly, I waited with no acknowledgement from the wait staff. Got the attention of someone who became my waitress and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism, as well as the manager. He apologized and paid for my appetizer. Have had that experience several time in the past and wait staff can be extremely slow except my waitress last Saturday.”

“My family and I went to eat at Cheddar's over the weekend, we waited 20 minutes to be seated (they were busy), another 15 for the waiter to say he would be with us shortly, another 20 after that to have our drink orders taken. You get the pattern here. The service was awful, talked to a manager that just said sorry. If you want someplace good to eat try Red Robin but not Cheddar's!”

• Took forever 2 b seated.

“My last and FINAL visit to your Newport News location was terrible. I mean It was horrible. The food took forever on top of that it was cold upon arriving; the service was little to none. The manager was very rude. We were extremely disappointed. Weve been dinning at cheddars regularly that was for the past 2 years. What on earth Happened to Angela .Now that was Service? You Guys need to step it up. I've read your other Reviews.”

“Had a horrible experience at the Newport News Cheddar's. It took 40 minutes to get 2 glasses of water. We only wanted dessert and when our dessert finally came (after waiting another 10 minutes) it was hard. The manager did little to nothing to appease us! I will not visit this location again!”
