• The hamburgers with smoke sauce.
• Too far from our home.

“The absolute best hamburgers we have ever had. We stop here every time we are driving through or staying in Glenwood Springs. We live in Northern CO about 4 hrs away. The hamburgers are big and the price worth it. If you drive up, expect to wait in a line but the wait has never disappointed us.”

• The best burger on this planet.
• Its a 4 hr drive from my house.

“Lets just say for conversations sake that I am on death row. Before I am dead man walking the warden asks me what I want for my last meal. With no hesitation I say a Double #2 from Charcoal Burger with fries. I will die happy.”

• Fresh food cooked while you wait. Great service.
• Not a thing.

“Easily the best burger joint I have ever visited. It is an eleven on a scale of ten. Everything is fresh, cooked while you wait. No it is not McDonald's Drive-Thrus speedy, but what do you expect for real food cooked fresh? And the Coca Cola is real Coca Cola. I'd forgotten what real fountain Coca Cola mixed properly tasted like, but here it's the real deal. It's a small joint, no indoor seating, a walk up window and a rudimentary drive through, but for real food done right, it's the best I have ever had, coast to coast. ”

• Too long waiting at drive-up.

“The best golden dang burgers around. Go for a double number 6 char melt buffalo burger. Smart cowboys call ahead and pickup. Expect a Texas size wait if you drive up and order.”
