• Server did a good job.
• Found fabric in our entree.

“Saturday night after attending the Missouri High Schools District Choir concert in Moberly which was very impressive, my family decided to eat in Moberly before returning home. We decided on Rick's Americana Grill. The dining rooms were lovely and we had pleasant expectations for their food. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan which I shared with my daughter. My daughter commented on her pasta and asked about an unusual noodle looking item in her part of the dish. The noodle, upon examination, was some sort of fabric resembling a shoe string or part of an apron tie. We were initially amused. Our server, did an excellent job of trying to take care of the situation that was given to him. My problem other than having a foreign object in my food was the way the management/owner chose to handle this situation. First, we never saw the manager. She had her server offer to make us another dish or take the price of the dish off our ticket. Needless to say, we did not really want more of the pasta. It would have been nice for the manager to take care of this problem herself. Next, when we were in the parking lot I decided to try to find out what was going to be done about foreign items in their food; so I called the restaurant using the phone number on the receipt. When the phone was answered I asked to speak to a manager in charge. I was told she was too busy to talk. I said, "Well, is there an owner that I could speak to about this problem?". I was told that she was a part owner and she knew about the problem and put a note by the computer and basically she was too busy to deal with it. Not cool.”
