• Outback's advertising with sizzling steaks makes me salivate.
• This Naperville Outback has the worst manager in the nation.

“The Manager for this particular Outback Steakhouse in Naperville, IL, has to be the rudest, most customer-unfriendly individuals I have ever encountered. When approached with the concept of providing a future steak dinner for a party of 12, his attitude was who are you to! Anyone he did not know from his neighborhood was not welcome at his restaurant. As a professional restaurant auditor, I must say he took the cake for most mal adjusted restaurant manager I've ever met. Avoid this steakhouse. The Lone Star Steakhouse in Downer's Grove, IL, just a few miles eastward is much more customer friendly and reasonably priced.”

• Food not as good, prices too high for portions, menu has changed and not for the better.

“I've gone to outback for years, at least 10 I remember. My last visit was disappointing. The service is always great, that you cannot ask for better. Several items have been removed from the menu. The portions are smaller. I always liked their lobster tails; one was more than enough, now it takes at least 3 to satisfy. They have gotten so small. The chopped salad a new item is very good and if you fill up on salad and the bread which is always good, although sometimes stale, you go away hungry, but you won't have any leftovers. The only thing that didn't shrink is the prices. For what you get it is too expensive, you can do better elsewhere.”
