• Food was edible, but not outstanding.

“The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Air temp was set at a cool (not too cold, like most places I've been lately) Nice high seat booth that allowed for privacy. The manager came right over and got our drinks because our waitress was busy. Thought that was very nice. The waitress was very gracious, took our order and helped us out by accommodating a couple special requests without hesitation. The only problem was the food was just ok. Grilled shrimp were over cooked and sort of bland. That may be the New England style. The fish and chips were pretty good though. I was surprised there is no dinner salad on the menu, but they made a special salad when I mentioned it. The manager gathered the kids that were there and did a very sweet little act with one of the lobsters from the tank that the kids really enjoyed.”

“Eating at the Boston Cooker reminded me of growing up in New England! The Haddock was exceptional and my wife enjoyed her steak. The rolls were fresh and hot. We will both definitely be back!”

“Overall it is just another restaurant that ruins a good name. Food is very generic, no pizzazz, tasteless. Servings are small. I wont be back. Remember less is more. Give a better value for the dollar.”

“Excellent service in lounge area. Had the full bellied clams and they were excellent? It is very hard to find fresh New England food and this place has the best. Great place to eat...well be back!”

• The dinner rolls were the highlight of the meal.
• Out of several dishes, food overcooked and tasteless.

“Out of specials and menu items, food tasteless, guest did not finish soup, taken away and no one asked by bowl was still 3/4 full servings small.”
