“My husband and I had a nice dinner date at The Barn. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice. I ordered the Filet Oscar. The Filet itself was a nice cut and very tender. However, I could barely taste it or the crab and asparagus that accompanied it from all the Bearnaise sauce that was slathered over it. I also ordered the stuffed potato, which had an interesting taste that my husband and I both thought was an excessive amount of garlic. My husband ordered the Chicken Italiano, which he thought was a great variation of chicken cordon bleu. It was also covered in sauce, but he enjoyed his meal. My husband and I will definitely give The Barn another chance.” Oct 22, 2008 by

“Me and my husband and my son and his girlfriend enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Barn last Saturday night. I could not have experienced a more enjoyable dinner. From the appetizer to the dessert everything was wonderful. From the food selection to the preparation everything was over the top. It was truly a fine dining experience! The best restaurant I have ever been to in Fayetteville!” Jul 27, 2007 by

“Excellent food, a little expensive, but as compared to Chris's Steak House or Trios, twice the value and portion sizes.” Jul 24, 2007 by

“We had a rotten restaurant experience. The other night my wife and I went to dinner at The Barn on Bragg. We had dined there quite a few times in the past and both the food and service were excellent. Actually, it was a favorite place for us and our friends when we wanted to dine out and didn't much care how much it cost. Well, things sure have changed there. My wife ordered linguini with white clam sauce and I ordered crab stuffed shrimp. The linguini was drenched in some brownish, greasy sauce that defied description. The stuffed shrimp were tiny little things stuffed with crab tainted bread crumbs. My wife simply couldn't choke down the pasta and asked that the meal be replaced. They sent her a fish platter with a few more of the tiny, cooked to death shrimp, crab tainted breadcrumb cakes and a small overcooked fish fillet of some sort. I decided, since I had lost my appetite anyway not to bother reordering anything else. I called the owner over and told him how we felt. He was apologetic but still sent over our check. It was for $51.00, the full cost of the meals! I wrote him a letter, again expressing how we felt, which was never answered. Needless to say, neither I nor any of my friends will ever eat at The Barn again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
