“Took my parents here as they had driven three hours to spend the day with us. We didn't have to wait too long. Once we were seated, we waiting at least fifteen minutes until our drink orders were taken. Our server said he would bring out the bread as soon as it came out of the oven. He also said he would bring plates for our appetizers, never happened. We placed our orders. Half hour later, our waiter comes out and tells us they are out of two our meals. We reorder. Still no bread. An hour and fifteen minutes after ordering our food comes out. Half of the food is cold; still no bread. I ask server if we can get some bread at which point he gets upset and tells me as soon as it comes out of the oven. (We heard these 1 1/2 hours ago). When we are nearly finished with our meals we ask again for bread and receive some cold rolls. We ask for our check and wait nearly another fifteen minutes for it to come. When it does come he charged for an extra meal and for the drinks we had at the bar while waiting, which we paid for there. He then tells us he can't refund the money, but can give us a gift card. We tell him that is unacceptable at which point he storms away. He stomps back to our table a few minutes later and shoves the cash into my dad's hand and stomps away. One of the most classless displays of food service I have ever seen. I was a waiter for four years, so I know it can be a tough job, but this was just horrible. Thank God we didn't get a gift certificate because that would have caused me to possibly go back.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 30, 2007 by

“True for this small of a town it was a rather nice restraint. Over all the food we had was excellent. The steaks were tender and juicy. They also had all you could eat ribs and they were some of the best I have had outside of Texas, along with several different flavors of bbq sauce. Over all the experience was very pleasant and I would recommend this place to anyone that travels thru fort dodge.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Nov 14, 2006 by
