“Best pizza ever, period. We travel to Savanna once a month just to eat at Manny's, a two hour drive. We also bring home about 20 frozen pizzas from each trip. The sauce is amazing, and the crust is thin, making it possible to eat so much! If you love mushrooms, you will love their mushroom pizza. They load their mushroom pizzas with tons of mushrooms! I also love the attached bar and small arcade room for the kids. I would strongly recommend Manny's Pizza to everyone.” May 25, 2009 by

“A pizza that was built on the thinnest of cardboards and tacos that were mostly lettuce and old cheese.” Dec 28, 2008 by

“So let me break it down. I have traveled the country, eating at many pizza parlors and shops. I would have to say that nothing compares to Manny's Pizza. Hands down, the best pizza I have ever tasted. Its a little on the greasy side, but that is what makes it so good. Slap a little hot sauce on your thinly sliced pie and you are ready to engorge in the delicious crust and cheeses that make Manny's the best ever. I highly recommend the Canadian bacon, as well as the sausage, mushroom and black olive. I live in New York and I drive all the way to tiny Savanna, IL just to eat at Manny's. Two thumbs up, best ever. Don't take my word for it though, go and try it.” Jun 30, 2008 by

“Manny's has the absolute best pizza and tacos anywhere! I absolutely love going though. The pizzas was greasy, but I think that's part of what makes it so good! My family has a family get together there every year and it's wonderful. They're very accommodating and helpful to fit all of us together. If you've never had there pizza and tacos, it's definitely a great place to eat. It's so nice now that there's one also in Freeport, IL it's so much closer and still very good!” Oct 20, 2007 by

“Mannys is new to Freeport, which is nice because it no longer needs to travel to Savannah for the best pizza from the Mississippi to Chicago. Cook county pizza is a different animal. Mannys is so different you must try it to understand it. Its a cross between "ole" and "magnifico".” Oct 30, 2006 by

“I've been eating Manny's pizzas since I was 16 years old (I'm 56 now). Later in life, I would fly in to O¿Hare from Los Angles, rent a car, pick up a few old buddies, and head to Manny's. Awesome pizza, thin crust, nice and greasy. I highly recommend the sausage, mushroom and onion. My buddy likes Pepperoni and green olives - A large pizza might cost $9 bucks! While you are there, drive along the Mississippi river, turn into Palisades State Park - I love Manny's.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 21, 2006 by

“I think Manny's Pizza is one of the best places to eat in Carroll County. It is definitely the best restaurant in Savanna. It is really greasy but, very tasty. I would recommend it to most people. If you go to Manny's you should definitely get their Taco's, they are fenaminal. Their Pizza is GREAT.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
