• Chef/owner is hands-on.
• Overly casual atmosphere.

“Stayed in silt almost by happenstance on a Tuesday. Restaurant was hopping because it was 2 for 1 martini night; martini menu had 40 or 50 different choices. I settled for a beer and took a chance on new Zealand mussels and shrimp linguini ($18). Meal was wonderful so I brought the wife and friends back the next week. I repeated my choice while they had the evening's special 8 oz filet ($28). Everything was great except the kitchen forgot the capers that had been in my pasta; when I mentioned it to the waitress she immediately got a bowl of warm, buttered capers which really complemented the creamy pasta sauce. Steaks were wonderfully grilled; mashed potatoes were combination of white and sweet and were superb. Out of the way but worth a visit if you're in the area.”
