“The highlight was the Kansas City Steak it was excellent! My wife is a sushi fan. I am not. However I tried it and liked some of the original creations like the tango mango roll. The manager spoke with our table to see how we liked our service. We took friends from out of state and they said it was the best sushi they ever had!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 28, 2008 by

“I was an avid Amura customer until last night. The restaurant has no regard for its customers or the service they offer.I went with a group of 7 people. The whole night, we felt out of place. The table location was terrible (they had to create a table for us).Secondly, the server rushed us through our order. Salads on our table arrived at different times. But what annoys me the most is that tables seated after us, with more people were served their sushi first. Along with that, one person ordered a steak, and that arrived before any sushi arrived at the table. Until I told the server they had 2 minutes to bring the food out before we leave, none of the sushi came out. Then, when the sushi arrived, it came as a persons order, then a wait for 10 minutes, then the next person's order. It was a terrible experience. The dessert cake (which was complimentary) was cold. When I told the server that it was cold she refused to believe me. I told her to touch it. She refused. Arrogant server! I am totally unsatisfied after all her work. She added gratuity to the whole table, and I reluctantly paid. I don’t think she deserved any tip, and in fact, I believe the restaurant should have sent a manager to explain to my table, which waited well over an hour and a half for sushi, why it took so long.I will NOT be returning to the restaurant. I dont think that you should spend your money here. Maybe you should try Rangetsu on International Drive. It may just be worth your while to stay away from this daiben-hole.On a side note, the owner who lives in Viscaya, doesnot care about your concerns for the restaurant.” Feb 28, 2008 by
