“Terrible food. Ordered appetizers only and got half within 15 minutes. Waited another 30 minutes for a simple chicken quesadilla. It still wasn't out when the less than professional waiter came to my table and asked if we still wanted it?! Are you kidding me? Did I not order it? It was finally brought to out table as we heard the gate calling for out flight to begin boarding. I went to the manager and explained the situation and the manager looked at me and said ok! We left the food on the table, paid the tab and walked out. I will never spend another dime. Save your money and grab a snickers bar until you can find something else to eat.”

“Unfortunately I was unable to stop by the D terminal establishment as mentioned in the other reviews, but based on what I have read so far none of them have had quite the pleasure. I had the other day in b terminal. Although the facility is remarkable dated in its memorabilia and decor. The service was warm and the beers ice cold. I travel often and although the soothing tunes of nirvana is not my cup of tea I find the terminal b jet rock and its smiling staff always a welcome escape from the subpart flying experience with us airways from the smiling young lady at the pizza area to the pleasant servers and bar staff. This restaurant has service covered. The prices are equal to most in the area. Obviously the other reviewers must stick to dining at upper echelon establishments like Hardies and McDonald. Dining prices were not extravagant and at least you get your bang for your buck in the booze department. Unlike other bars, this jet rock has no "rail" liquors. Order a rum and coke and you are started off at Bacardi. My wife's paradise punch was a welcome treat as it combined several fresh fruit flavors. Overall a great experience. We will stop in again.”

  • Beer! Service and fun atmosphere.
  • In the airport.

“I came into this bar really for one reason, beer! I walked by going to my gate in terminal D and first thing I saw was the "New Brews" they had going. I was recommended to try the Victory Hop Wallop which is their seasonal selection and boy was that stuff nuts! The bartender later told me of the high alcohol content which is totally fine with me! Anyway enough about the beer. So I had a bacon burger and it was actually pretty good since I wasn't expecting that much also came out pretty quick for how busy the place was. The atmosphere I though was great as well. Good music with a majority of classic stuff but had a few recent hits not even on the radio stations yet. The staff was definitely some cute girls, all brunettes which I thought was strange, but they actually looked to be having a good time considering the circumstances. I saw two guys come and go from behind the bar that looked to be the managers, helping out when needed and joking around with the staff. The place was pretty clean and they did a good job keeping it that way, but with the business they had going there were some napkins and such on the floor, but that's fine with me I hate those immaculate restaurants (just my opinion). So Id say the only negatives were the prices, but if you think about it the prices aren't that bad for being in an airport. I heard other customers complain, but hey if you don't want to pay for it than don't get it! Anyway I'll definitely be back if I ever fly out of Philly again!”

  • Was close to my gate.
  • Service and health code standards.

“Sat at the bar for about 10 minutes (there were not a lot of people there) before anyone even motioned to help me. Finally the bartender looked at me sitting there, then turned her back, opened her cell phone, and addressed her text messages before addressing the willing to pay for a drink customer. She then served me a drink with an insect floating on the top, turned heel, and went in back to eat dinner. Another bar tender came by, I told her about the bug, and she just shrugged it off as though it happens all the time, then when I spoke to the manager, he was very indifferent about the whole thing. I will NEVER sit at that bar again.”

“I am not surprised Philadelphia was ranked worst for flight delays. I was recently delayed in terminal d on a wed. Night around 4pm, the restaurant was packed, as usual, my meal was overpriced, as usual, and my waitress was smoking hot, as usual. The only thing I can not complain about is their attractive staff of brunettes. Excellent way to disguise your filthy establishment, jet rock.”

  • Great brews, music, and pretty staff!
  • Was very busy, but expected with delays in an airport.

“I went to jet rock in terminal d at the Philadelphia airport when I found out my flight was delayed 5 hours. This place was cranking being that it looked like everyone was delayed due to the weather. The beer selection is amazing with 48 beers on tap! I was happy to see your standard favorites plus they had hearten and a seasonal victory on tap that was being advertised as specials. The staff consisted of some very pretty girls both behind the bar and serving the tables. My particular bartender, believe, looked to be the only male staff there but he was one of the better bartenders of the bunch. He had kept my beer filled and the area around me clean, the rest of the girls seemed to be having fun with him since he was the only guy behind the bar. I had a quesadilla and it was fine for how hungry I was. Overall I liked the music, loads of TVs, but especially the pretty staff!”

  • Beer is usually slightly colder than warm.
  • Wait staff, food, pretty much as hostile as having a beer at your ex wife's place.

“I read the other bad reviews and thought we must have all been there on the same night. I travel quite a bit and regrettably they are the pretty much only choice if you want a drink (beer) and the only reason they stay open. Wait staff is rude and angry. I had the same experience as the reviewer who sat at a table and was ignored until I went the bar and was ignored some more and finally told there was no table service. They tried to add gratuity and I made them take it off of the bill, which the bartender would not do at first until I threatened to get a cop. Food is uniformly horrible. Only reason to go there is to grab a beer at the bar, slug it down and wait until you arrive elsewhere to eat.”

“I cannot believe how horrible the service was at this restaurant establishment. The cashier added gratuity to my purchase after I tipped her with cash. Not only is this illegal, but morally wrong. Unbelievable. If you do eat here, pay cash! I find it hard to believe that people like that have jobs...”

  • None whatsoever. None.
  • Surly. Rude. Unprofessional. Disdainful.

“Stay away from this place. Horrible, simply horrible. I fly into and out of Philly frequently (usually late at night) and this is the only place in Terminal D that serves alcohol. The service is horrendous! By far, the largest and most surly group of unfriendly staff ever collected under one roof. You'll sit at a table for service for what seems like eternity while you watch the staff go about cleaning up the place. When you finally go up to the bar to inquire about table service, they rudely inform you that there is no table service. And finding a bartender is next to impossible. Finally, a word about their prices. I was there one night where the staff switched the blaring music from rock to rap (where every other word was beeped out) and the manager was yelling at one of the busboys. Avoid this place like the plague.”

  • Price and Service was horrible.

“I stopped by the bar on 9/18/06 at 14:39. I was greeted by the rudest barmaid I have ever encountered her name was Monica. No Hello How are you doing, No Thank you, All she did was complain about every one else that was sitting in the bar area to her coworker that was working the Tables. She never smiled and seemed like she hated being there. I work for Hilton Hotels as Bar Manager for the past 10 years and if I had a bartender that worked for me that was that impersonal I would dismiss her. I ordered a White Russian that was made with bar Vodka and a 1/2 shot of Kaluha and 20 little 1/2 and 1/2 containers that she complained about opening. ”
