• Improved atmosphere.
• Service, food quality, not worth the money.

“The Astor has recently re opened after years of renovations, so my wife and me though we would give it a try. The improvements are nice and the decor a little fancy for a dinner, but we assumed they were try to go a little more upscale. This seemed a bit pricey for dinner breakfast. So we were thinking the upscale atmosphere would translate into upscale food quality. We were wrong on that account. The pancakes were bland and the chocolate chips semi sweet, the omelets was small and nothing to rave or complain about (except the $10 price) and came with a side salad. The quality of the food is enough to keep us from returning. The servers are new and have had little training; they are slow and a bit uncouth. The service may improve with time and experience with the menu, but at this point leave a lot to be desired. The overall experience was an overpriced breakfast with less than average food and service.”
