• The sandwiches.
• Atmosphere, crowds, long waits.

“This former gas station in a gritty part of town serves up an extensive deli menu, including what people who should know are calling the best corned beef in the city. Takeout is the best option; the dining area has all the atmosphere of a, well, gas station, and it really isn't all that clean either. Service can be slow, and the place gets crowded. But it's worth a trip (by car is really the only realistic option) for a slice of the real old D.C. as well as a Reuben or a Murray's Delight (hot corned beef on rye with Cole slaw and Russian dressing).”
