“I haven't been there in a long while, but last time I was there 5 years ago. The place didn't look too good and then the decor was the same as when it opened in 1976. It was beautiful then, with all the rooms being used. Disco downstairs and line dancing upstairs. Sorry it has gone all the way down. It was a lot of fun then, packed from top to bottom and side to side. We were afraid the boat was going to sink, that was how crowded it was in 1976. In 1990 thru 1998 if I recall, it was crowded and a lot of fun. Decor as I said stayed the same. The old ferry fixtures stayed around the boat, the boat is a part of history. That is beautiful. With all the pictures of when it held cars and before. But we loved it then, to bad it can't be salvaged.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jun 17, 2006 by

“Auto gratuity of 17 1/2% for party of 4 adults and 1 child??? This is insane! We went for dinner - 4 adults and 1 child. The service was TERRIBLE. We had to wait for everything a very long time, ask for plates to be cleared, water refills, bread, etc. and waited over a half hour for our check. All this on a Friday night with only 5 or so other tables filled. The food was all sub-par and the desserts were disgusting, frozen and not edible The ridiculous thing was when we got our check, they added a 17 1/2 gratuity! I asked at the front desk if this was normal and they said that any bill over $150 gets the gratuity added to the bill. I asked if they stated this somewhere and they said "no that was just what we do". I think this is insane! I can see if we were a large party as some restaurants will add 10% or 15% for parties of 8 or more but we were a small group and 17 1/2% for terrible service was ridiculous. They have really declined in service and quality over the years and that will be the very last time I ever go there! I can see why no one ever goes there anymore.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Aug 21, 2005 by

“One of the best locations along the Hudson. But it was much more upscale when I was there many years ago. Was quite empty at dinnertime. More people eating outside (mostly burgers) than inside even on Saturday night. Needs some work done to restore the Binghamton's I remember. Restaurant Representatives:
