• A consistently wonderful place to have a lovely quiet dinner, but also a great place to bring children.
• Not a closer location.

“I have been going to Houston's Restaurant for over 25 years and have always been more than pleased! Through the years there have always been favorites entrees, but right now the Thai Beef Noodle Salad is my absolute favorite of the Houston's menu and of any restaurant in Atlanta. Every chance I get I will go there and get this marvelous salad and Houston's signature cheese toast. Go and enjoy! Just one request - with the Perimeter location closed are you considering opening one in north Atlanta again? Could I suggest Alpharetta?”

• Food quality.

“We have been dedicated to Houstons for over 25 years now. We went 5/17/08 and we were very disappointed. The service was wonderful, however our food wasn't. My salad was very small and they obviously changed their signature mustard-honey dressing. It was very bland. My husband's burger was very disappointing as well. We probably will not return anytime soon. It was our FAVORITE restaurant and we always looked forward to a special occasion to visit. I used to always recommend Houston's to everyone, now I have my doubts.”

• Bathrooms were clean.
• Just about everything else.

“This was a terrible disappointment. Tight spaces make wheelchair access almost impossible and embarrassing. We had to ask for ice in our water and straws. Bill was excessive, servings small. Everything was extra from water to horseradish to ketchup. Au jus sauce was chilly. This place is pretentious without any elegance.”

• Wonderful ambience!
• People at table next to us were talking rather loudly. Took away from atmosphere.

“Absolutely one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The ambience is most appealing. The food is exquisite. The service is top rate. I was actually visiting Atlanta from out-of-state at the time I went to Houston¿s for dinner. My sister who lives in Atlanta took me there. I loved it! Superb place for dining & entertainment!”

• Best Ribs Anywhere.
• No Sweet Tea.

“Quite simply the best ribs I have ever eaten in my entire life. The only bad thing is they don't have sweet tea. I'll definitely go back when I'm back in Atlanta.”

• The restaurant looked clean
• Server did not care that I could have choked on wire in food

“Love to eat at your restaurants when in the area. Had dinner there Oct., 4. 06. Ordered my favorite salad. After eating a few bites, I found a wire in the salad about 1 and 1/2" long. Showed it to the server and she never said sorry or anything. She asked if I wanted another one and I said yes, but could not eat much of it. After a few minutes the server came by and wanted to know if I found any debrief in this salad. This completely turned me off. My husband ordered prime rib and was served rib eye steak, we let that go. Will not ever eat at this Houston¿s again. By the way, we were charged the full amount of the bill.”

• Good salmon, slaw.
• Limp salad greens (please go back to previous greens) and ice cold bowls.

“We have been a customer of Houston's for over 20 years. The grilled salmon is the best. The coleslaw is excellent. Lately we have been disappointed with the grilled chicken salad. The field greens are just not as good as the previous lettuces. And almost always the bowls are not cold like they used to be. ”
