“Our waitress was incredibly snotty. I ordered pork larb and it's supposed to be spicy. It comes to me with a mountain of chili flakes on top instead of it being cooked in. (I can make it) that alone, ruined the food. It didn't come with rice, so I had to pay extra for that. It also didn't come with lettuce except for a greasy, soggy piece underneath the meat. It is a salad. It is supposed to come with lettuce, other wise I would just be eating a plate of meat! I asked the waitress for lettuce and she acted like it was the most outrageous, unusual demand ever. Her attitude was condescending and horrible. She comes back and tells me I need to pay three dollar for lettuce. By this time, I'm so mad but I just wanted to eat my meal. My extra veggies were three tall, but slender pieces and some cucumbers. They had no soap in the bathroom, so I'm left wondering if the wait staff doesn't wash their hands after using the toilet. Overall, this place used to be fantastic three years ago. But, I will never go again and I strongly do not recommend this place unless you're going for an over priced.” Sep 7, 2007 by

“Seeing as Madison does not have any good Thai restaurants, Sai Bai gets away with surviving due to lack of competition. I have lived in cities with really good Thai food and can hardly stomach this restaurant. I have given it two chances and on both occasions the restaurant screwed up my order, the food was suboptimal, and the restaurant seats were sticky.” Restaurant Representatives:
