“My husband, daughter and I had lunch today (5/10/07) at this place. It was terrible! The egg rolls were greasy and fried in stale oil. The fried rice was very dark, gummy, and had a burnt taste. The batter on the fried shrimp was thick and gummy, and the shrimp was tasteless. The so called "barbequed pork" was slices of the type of dry pork that is usually used in sweet and sour pork with the red rind. The only part of the meal that was edible was the fried chicken wings that were included on the combination plate; however, they were fried in the same stale oil as the egg rolls. Although the waitress was very pleasant, and accommodating, I found it odd that she, at least three times, asked us, "Is the food okay?" After the third time I politely told her it wasn't and mentioned what I posted above. She said the cooks were new and that she would express our concerns to the manager. She left the table, and after a few minutes she came back and said the manager was sorry about the food but the cooks were new. We were very disappointed that the manager didn't take the time to come to the table and address our concerns. In most good restaurants this would have happened and we would have been offered something else or the bill would have been reduced. We have eaten at the restaurant before and they have, in the past had a reputation for good food. We won't be eating there anytime soon and will suggest to people we know not to spend their money there either.” May 10, 2007 by
