• I liked the lighting and nice floral arrangement on the tables
• The service was very poor, food was not impressive

“The only thing I really liked about this place was the lighting and centerpieces. But then again, most women like shiney, flowery-type stuff. I wish we would've spent our money more wisely than on this place. I had the fish and chips which was ok, but you can get that anywhere and with better service. We waited 10 minutes to finally get some water, our waiter was snobby and rude in addition to not even asking us if we wanted anything else to drink besides water. He barely acknowledged our existance and failed to even say "thank you" or "have a nice day" when we were done. So needless to say, I was NOT impressed. I think it would be much better if they loosened their collars just a tad!!!!”

• Famous Place
• Overpriced, bad service, the place needs a makeover!

“I went here for my birthday - and it was a total disappointment. The food was overpriced and bad, made worse by bad service, and the place was falling apart. Our plates/forks were dirty, there was a stain on the tablecloth, and the carpet was coming up. The bathroom was dirty. Do not waste your money - this place is far far away from what made it famous to begin with. If you want a nice place in the park, go to the boat house instead, the food is fantastic, the view is great, and the service is perfect - right down to the warm bread basket!”
