• Our waitress was nice and very accommodating.
• My 5 yr old grandson could cook a better meal.

“The staff was friendly and courteous, that's the best I can say. The food was undesirable. We brought my parents as a treat and only paid for the meal to prevent a scene in front of them; 3 of us had fish that was dry and overcooked and tasted like it was hanging around the pond a little too long. Drinking water was the worst tasting and smelling water I have ever encountered in a restaurant, I think our fish might have had a bath in it first! Their claim of real mashed potatoes, I will swear on the Bible were a mixture of real and boxed instant. Half an ear of corn passed as a veggie, but was probably cooked in that fish water. We ordered from the complete meal menu, which included soup that was too hot (spicy) for the elders in our party and desserts that were also stale and dry. Our waitress was good and accommodating; she wasn't responsible for the bad food after all so we did tip her fairly for what we put her through. I felt prices were a little high, but would be reasonable if the food was worth it. There is another restaurant about 1/4 mile away that would be a much better choice for good dining.”

• Reasonable prices.
• Really bad lobster pie.

“Avoid the lobster pie. It was heavy on the butter and over cooked. Rest of meal was ok. They do a good baked stuffed shrimp and also a Sunday buffet that is good.”
