“I've been going to steak and ale since I was a little kid. I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the brand. I've been to multiple locations and have seen the differences and similarities in each. At this point in my life I travel a lot. I have to take clients out and often have meetings over dinner. Because of this I often choose steak and ale. It is elegant enough to impress many of my clients, but not so expensive to my bosses cry. There are many items that I would recommend to any patron who has yet to fully enjoy the steak and ale experience. First let me say that their salad bar is second to none. Anyone who gets any of their other salads is missing out. If you are looking for a nice dinner, but on the cheaper side I would recommend their Hawaiian chicken, the spicy chicken pasta or on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesday getting their $10.99 prime rib special. If you are willing to spend just a little more then I would recommend the Kensington Club, Cedar Plank Salmon or their braised Pork Osso Bucco. The Osso Buco was new the last time I went, and it was truly fantastic. I had it in Arlington Texas and it was about $15. Now when you really want to spend a little more cash there are only 3 items to get. For seafood lovers get their lobster tails. My wife raves over them every time she has them. For me it is either the 9 pepper filet or the rib eye. The 9 pepper is smaller, but it melts in your mouth tender with a sauce, while slightly hot, that is to die for. The rib eye is big one of the most flavorful steaks Ive ever had. Now I know many people like fried food, and although I have seen a few steak and ale's with fried food, most do not. I also recommend pairing there food with wine or beer. Their wine list is decent compared to most casual dinning establishments and their beer choice, although usually small usually has many quality ales.” Oct 10, 2007 by

“I travel a lot, and whenever I need a great steak on the road I look for a Steak & Ale. This one was no exception. It is great for meeting clients, or for a quiet dinner with my girlfriend. The food is amazing; I particularly like the Kensington club or their prime rib. For drinks Ill usually order a bottle of Shiraz or a Platinum Margarita. All and all this Steak & Ale was much like the others I have visited, great food and even better service.” Mar 16, 2007 by

“The food is good. But the phone number listed is wrong. The poor man who answered when I called says that he gets thousands of calls for steak and ale. The real phone number is 813-281-2300. Someone please change the number on this site.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
