• Staff was nice, food good.

“We had dinner with 4 adults and 3 children. Service was good. Food was enjoyable. However, we asked for rolls or bread with dinner and the waiter said it's 50 per roll. I found that to be some what ridiculous as our meal cost $350 for all of us and felt rolls should have been included. We will be back, but no rolls.”

• Cottages.
• Could be closer to beach

“As a restaurant owner and manager, I found the key lime bistro to be charming, delightful and very well managed. We had excellent food, service, and drinks. Staff was over and above attentive! We will be going back!”

• nice atmosphere, decent food (at least for a resort town like Captiva)
• slow and at times bad service; rude wait staff and manager

“As someone who owns and runs restaurants for a living, I understand that there are bad days (actually nights) at every restaurant. But, when I was there with my business colleagues/friends earlier this year, the service was incredibly slow, uneven and unprofessional. The food came very late and cold. No apology was forthcoming from the waiter (who at times disappeared for 20-30 minutes at a time) or his manager (during his absence), saying that is the way it on a busy night. Too bad the place has a nice atmosphere and food is decent. I will make sure no one I know will go there.”
