“For this type of restaurant, you are better off going to Humperdinks. Otherwise a nicer restaurant all together. This is not a place to impress a client.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 14, 2007 by

“Well everything went well until I received my check which I thought had an error on it. I ordered a Philly (I ordered a 32 oz beer also but that ended up being ok) at the bar and the price is $8.99 for the sandwich and I saw it was a dollar to add onion rings, so I did. So the bill should have read $9.99, but instead it read $10.99. No big deal, they made a mistake, I will ask them about it. I asked the bartender and his reply was that it is $2 for sandwiches and $1 for burgers to add onion rings; this made no logical sense to me. He decided because he wasn't sure, to go get a manager and I explained the situation. Now remember, everything was OK until this stupid manager showed up with his stupid power trip. He accused me of trying to rip them off! He said it was only a dollar. I asked him where it said it is $2 to substitute? He couldn't answer. I asked him why sandwiches were $2 dollar substitutes when burgers were $1. He said it was because they came with chips. I pointed out a few sandwiches that had fries standard and asked if it would only have been $1 to substitute for onion rings. He looked at me blankly because I caught him lying to me, and then he said probably. He then proceeded to say, well that's the way it is and it is only a dollar. And I said you are right it's only a dollar, and because I'm the "bad ole customer" I will walk out of here, never come back, and take your poor ole (good) bartenders tip with me, all because of a misunderstanding about a frickin' dollar. I wine and dine customers, and will never ever bring a customer here or ever go back just because the principle of the matter was so ridiculous, that I was in awe. (This is the first time I have ever complained about any restaurant service, from McDonald's to a fancy caviar place) The manager was just young and stupid the way he handled me, the customer. I was fine until he came along on July 14, at 7:45 pm 2007.” 8 of 8 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
