• Wings with hot or mild garlic sauce.
• Too crowded sometimes.

“I try the wings everywhere I go, and this place gets my top rating, because not only are the wings prepared correctly (fried, never breaded) but they have garlic sauce which is loaded with garlic and very delicious. I can't comment about the wait staff (as others have) because I generally sit at the bar. The wings are so good that after I order them I sometimes see others smell them and order the same thing.”

• The food was tasty except for the wings.
• The waitresses will keep me from ever going back.

“The food is average. The wings are bland tasteless food. The hot wings are mild. The portions have gotten smaller as time goes on. The waitresses are inconsiderate. I went there on a friends recommendation, never to repeat.”

• We have to drive 8 miles to get there.

“We like to go to this place with our friends because it is casual and nice. It makes for a pleasant evening or a late lunch.”

• The food was tasty.
• The service & staff was unconcerned with customers, The portion size is tiny.

“The staff does not concentrate on the customer. They seem withdrawn, angry. The bartenders stay at one end of the bar, talking to friends. You can wait 20 minutes or better for a refill. The food was good I must admit, but I will not repeat.”

• Occasional yuppie customers with an attitude.

“I live in Lebanon, NJ now, but grew up 2 miles from "the mill" on parker road in long valley. This place is my favorite tavern 25 beers on tap, fantastic tavern fare, good service, and good prices. The burgers are made from meat bought from the local butcher and the wings are made with homemade sauce that is the best Ive had, anywhere, and I eat wings a lot! Great spot, highly recommended. Just wish they had live music!”

• Nothing at all.

“The old mill is simply the greatest restaurant ever. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, the service is great, and pretty much everything about it is great. I'm a usual there, which means that I¿ll go there 3-5 times every two weeks. There isn't a single moment where it¿s quiet there. They have a digital jukebox, a bunch of games like Pac-man and people, lots of people. For big sporting events, the old mill tavern will get really crowded, not can get, will get. It is a friendly place and is just a great place to have a meal.”

• Great Atmosphere!
• Pretty crowded on a recent Friday night, but worth the wait!

“This place is the real deal! Great local hangout. Everyone is very friendly. Too many beers on tap to count, great wings and burgers. Game room in the back for the kids so parents can enjoy their meal. Tons of TV's to watch your favorite game. Prices are very reasonable. Great place to go with friends or family.”
