  • Nice atmosphere.
  • Wilted, spoiled lettuce was served in the salad and with the appetizer. We received poor service from the male waiter.

“Brunch was rather disappointing! The brunch menu differs from what was listed on their website. Their website listed brunch at $23 per person and said it included a glass of orange juice or champagne, an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. When we actual got was only an appetizer and a main entree for $19.00. Orange juice or champagne and the dessert are no longer included. What was appalling is they served spoiled spring mix lettuce in their salad and with the quiche appetizer. A chef should never allow spoiled lettuce to be served! This shows a lack of quality or care for what is suppose to be an upscale restaurant. The crab cake appetizer was good and my two companions enjoyed their salmon entree. I was disappointed in the egg white frittata. I could have gotten the same quality at any chain breakfast restaurant or a mom and pop establishment. For the money and quality, I would not recommend this restaurant. Too bad since they had a nice atmosphere.”

  • the steaks were very tender ands perfectly done
  • a small thing, but the chairs we sat in were somewhat uncomfortable

“This is a gourmet restaurant in Moorpark's Old Town. The atmosphere is quiet, pleasant, somewhat victorian inside, with a lot of wood. The food is excellent and expensive, but you get what you pay for. Everything we've had has been delicious, from salads to dessert. The secret garden part of the restaurant is behind the restaurant and great for outdoor dining. We've only sat out there for a graduation party, but it was very, very nice with grass, roses, trees and vines.”
