• Consistently good honest southern food..
• It can get a little noisy if you arrive after the churches let out.

“I always try to lunch at the county buffet if I am traveling through middle Georgia. You get all you can eat of a wide variety of meats, vegetables and sides for a flat price of, I think, $7. Serve yourself and go sit at one of the tables. They will bus the table when you leave. This is one of a dying breed. It is very popular with the locals. On Fridays they have fish in addition to the usual fried chicken and various meat dishes. The ice tea is good, sweet or no sweet. There is a decent little salad bar, but I generally fill up on the good veggies. ”
