“I have been going to La Cibeles for about 7 years now and had wonderful experiences every single time I was there. The bread was excellent and we always got a bowl of garlic sauce as an appetizer to dip the bread in. The chicken was my dish of choice with no bones and I always have enough for lunch the next day. My wife and I love this place so much, we even got engaged there! I highly recommend going and having a great experience.” Apr 19, 2007 by

“My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for years. And we have never been let down. The food is excellent, service excellent. All over excellent! There is a wide variety of food choices. And I love their moon - thus dinner special menu.” Apr 11, 2007 by

“Despite reading a poor review, I checked the menu and decided to try la cables. I was very pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was helpful and attentive, and the service was good. The atmosphere was fine, and the restaurant was busy on the Wednesday night I visited. Many of the diners were "en faille" and that was reminiscent of restaurants in Spain. The food was very good, although the portions were huge. Almost everyone had to take away what they couldn't finish. The calamariżs were fried perfectly and accompanied by a nicely spiced sauce. The seafood paella was excellent - if anything it had too much seafood in it! Iżll definitely be back for more! I can't speak for the meat dishes, as I don't eat them, but they're also not a specialty of Spain. If you want steak - eat at a steakhouse! If you want good, honest, Spanish food - eat at la cables.” May 14, 2006 by

“I went there on Mother's Day with my wife, her sister, mother and grandmother for what was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day dinner. Instead the food was sub-par and not cooked the way it was requested. I ordered a medium-rare shell steak that was burned to a crisp, a filet mignon dinner was requested to be cooked medium and it was just about raw, two orders of salmon filets had many bones in them and the salad was awful. The restaurant itself is rundown and very dingy looking. It needs a facelift badly. The men's room was very dirty also. I was so disappointed and ashamed that I took my family there. It used to be a great place. We will NEVER go there again.” 6 of 9 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
