  • Environment, wine selection, food quality and presentation.
  • Servers seem very unmotivated and slow.

“Clyde's is a fabulous concept awaiting proper execution. If you have limitless time and money, you will be in heaven, and should leave this review to make your reservations now. If not, read on. The food there is top-notch. Creative, attractively presented, and delicious. Their wine list is fairly extensive, and I love that there are many wines available by the glass, and that all selections are available in the attached wine store. The environment is classy and beautiful. However; service has been historically slow, as if the servers and barkeeps were lulled to sleep by the relaxing atmosphere; and the prices for their food are mostly ridiculous. My pet gerbil could have finished the lamb platter I purchased for $27;I would be surprised if there was 4 oz of food on the plate, including the greens and potatoes, which made up half of it. I have a modest appetite, and for me to eat my fill (without even stuffing myself) would cost well over $90, without accounting for beverages. This restaurant is a poor unless you are very wealthy, or are in the habit of normally leaving 60% of your meal on the table when you leave anyway.”

  • Duck is absolutely amazing and the martinis are very fun to choose from.
  • Pricing may be a bit much for some budgets.

“This (in my opinion) is the very best restaurant in New Brunswick! The Martinis are top notch and you have a list of about 100 martinis to choose from plus old favorites, a wonderful wine list, and an exceptional Restaurant menu. The bar atmosphere is upscale with mostly 20-40 somethings dressed nicely drinking martinis in the dim lights. The restaurant is upscale, but jeans and a nice shirt will do for the dress code but the menu definitely displays formal attire. There is always a selection of exotic meats and dishes including bison, kangaroo, venison, ostrich and diver scallops as well as chicken, beef tenderloin and fish but the Duck preparations are always TO DIE FOR!! Menu preparations vary from month/season to month/season, but they are always exceptional. Pricing may be an issue as around 30$ a person is normal, but It is definitely worth it!!! Desserts are also wonderful and they make their own flavored vodkas if you are up for a special martini after a meal such as a girl scout cookie or a decadence martini!!”
