“Although the food is very good, the service is awful. The owners wife plays hostess, server, and bus girl. She is overwhelmed and in a barely occupied restaurant it was torture getting anything from her. No one seemed satisfied the night we there. One couple asked for bread and after 20 minutes they got two little rolls. I happen to hear them request more and hostess/server etc informed them that it will be a long time because the chef only makes two rolls at a time. Ridiculous. We enjoyed our meals but service is really important and this was a huge flaw. Too many other places to go where they use better customer service.” Mar 10, 2009 by

“This little tiny BYOB gem, found in the corner of a strip shopping center, is a delight. We have been there a hundred times and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently prepared and tastefully and generously presented by the owner/chef. We love the prix fixe menu which is a terrific value. Crab cakes are truly amazing, but we like everything on the menu as have our guests.” Sep 1, 2008 by

“The food was excellent, way above any I've had.” Mar 25, 2008 by

“Have been here several times recently. Our last time we had the Chilean Sea Bass with Sweet Mashed Potatoes. It was one of the best meals I have ever had dining out. This place is a hidden gem! Would highly recommend it. They should get themselves listed in Zagat. It would rate highly.” Dec 1, 2007 by

“Have eaten there twice in the last two weeks after recommendations from friends. The food and service were excellent both times. Would rate it as one of the best Byob's we have dined at. Can not understand why it is not better known. It is not even listed in Zagat, if it were I would give it a 26 for food and service. A real gem! Will recommend to our friends.” Jul 9, 2007 by

“My wife and I have been there numerous time; often with friends, and have not been disappointed a single time. Particularly with the latest version of the 3-course Prix Fixed Menu for $ 28, this is an excellent deal (we always bring our own wine, it is BYOB). For each of the courses there are probably at least 10 choices. At one time we counted 4 different kinds of preparation for duck. The lamb chops, the duck, mussels, the filet are our most favorite items. I would have to add that the co-owner who is there most of the time is a gem, in and by herself. Absolutely honest about what is to be particularly recommendable, charming, quick and knowledgeable, she adds to the value of this spot. When the restaurant is completely full, it can get a bit noisy. A plus is also the always available parking in front.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Apr 21, 2005 by

“The food is amazing, and the staff is amiable and attentive. We heard about this restaurant from friends, and we're all looking forward to going back soon!” 11 of 11 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
