• The wait was a little long due to the restaurant was very busy.

• You could get a presentable meal for the money if they wait on you.
• For some unknown reason they might not wait on you.

“I have been in the Mountaineer Family Restaurant of Parkersburg with my family on five occasions. On only two occasions was I waited on served food? On three occasions no one waited on our table after 20-30 minutes of being seated! I don't think this was some form of discrimination; it was just shear stupidity and poor management on their part. My family and I have never been denied service at any other restaurant before, and we are not in any minority group. Being denied service three times at one establishment is almost bizarre! I don't know exactly what their problem is, but I recommend that you avoid the place. Just eat next door or across the road from them and save yourself some time and hassle.”

“El ranchero is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. It is under new management and is better than ever. The food is clean, the service is great, and the restaurant is clean. It is very family oriented. The servers and hosts welcome everybody and serve you to the best they can. They are wonderful. So those of you that think that it are bad and haven¿t been there for a year. Go check it out now. It is awesome. It is under the new management and they are definitely taking care of business. But for right now, due to fire damage, it will not reopen for about 3 months.”

• Food Quality and Good Value.
• Outside needs to be made to look more Mexican.

“I go to this restaurant every week on a family night. Great value for your money. Food is excellent, servers are friendly, fast, and try to make your dining experience enjoyable.”
