User Reviews for San Angelo Restaurants« Go back to South San Francisco RestaurantsResearch User Reviews for San Angelo (1-9 of 9)China Garden Restaurant
“Priced a little high, even with Military discount for two adults and four children (ages 8, 6, 3, and 11 months). With that price, I expected the food to taste better, or at least not get cold within the first 60 seconds of sitting down. Positive: China Garden has a very large selection of items, and they are kept well stocked; you'll get full if you sample all items. They have a large selection of after lunch/dinner treats as well. The wait staff was extremely accommodating towards my large family, keeping our table clear for extra trips to the buffet line and cleaning up spilled soup and drinks.”

“With some of the lowest prices and the best steaks and burgers, you are missing a real treat if you have never been th this restaurant. They serve a 1 lb. hamburger that is out of this world. If you don't like garlic, don't go to this restaurant, everything is cooked with garlic and the grill is garlic seasoned. They also serve onion rings in a loaf, just make sure there are about 4 people in your group or you will not be able to eat your meal if you eat the onion loaf. WONDERFUL experience.”

“Decent Mexican food at a good price. Nothing fancy, just good food. Took my picky Father-in-law and he finished his plate. Amazing.”

“Ichibon restaurant is fabulous! Was in town celebrating my sister's 18th birthday bash and we all went to Ichibon for dinner. Food was great, the chef was very entertaining and the food was unbeatable. I ordered the filet mignon and lobster and it was just delicious. I'm so glad my sister and parents moved to Kemah cause it'll give me more opportunities to eat here when I come back to visit.”

“For under $20, you get a steak that fills a large platter, a side of baked potato so large that it is a meal in itself, not to mention the salad! The steak will easily feed two people, or you can take the rest home and enjoy another meal. The steak was perfectly cooked, full of flavor (if you like garlic, then you will certainly enjoy this!) and very tender. If you are ever going through San Angelo, you must try this restaurant.”

“Ichiban Steak House has an amazing, relaxing atmosphere. The chefs entertain guests throughout the entire meal, while serving a delectable spread of food. The salad, soup, and ginger sauce is something you should not pass up. I personally recommend the fleet mignon and shrimp. Come with a big appetite or plan on a take-out box, because you will receive a lot of food for you money! Also, go for your birthday! They serve a fresh pineapple and take a Polaroid for you to take with you!! ”
