• Nothing.
• Slow service and loud atmosphere.

“The slowest service I've ever had. This was the third and last time I ate there. Besides being over an hour to get our food to us they even messed up the orders and brought us wrong selections. I saw the cooks going in and out the door using cell phones instead of doing their job, not to mention they looked like convicts! Really I'd eat somewhere else because the food is just average but the service is poor.”

• Same great pepperoni rolls like from the 70's.
• Called ahead, carryout order was ready when I arrived.

“Grew up in Fairmont, but hadn't eaten at Colasessano's in over 15 years. Tried the new location at Middletown Mall. Food was great - just like I remembered.”

• Really great food, very clean, great wait staff.
• Good places get crowded on weekends.

“Best Cajun and steaks in the region! This is on my top three lists in West Virginia, the #1 best anywhere for Cajun, and yest I've been to Louisiana and had the real stuff. Great beer selection, including a local brewery selection that is excellent. The owners are just really nice people and the wait staff is always just great.”

“A friend of mine eats here often and raves about the food and the atmosphere. Yes the place was crowded but, folks are here for a reason. Nice selection of beer and the food we had been out of this world. Everyone here was extremely friendly which gives it a wonderful atmosphere. I'm now becoming a regular.”

• Wait staff is low.

“Backwoods grill is freaking awesome! I love it there. I live really close, so I get to eat there a lot. The new location is 10 times better than the old one. However, right now it's crowded, just because its good though. They have a lot more parking places, and the inside is really clean. They food is still great like always. If you never were getting a lot of friends to go, so you can try all these dishes at once. For an appetizer try the French fry frenzy, salad get the house dressing, then for the meals try one of these: chicken salad with ranch dressing, the burger, blackened steak salad, chicken wings (all types), steak, and if you like spicy, anything Cajun. Go there, and get the best food experience of your life.”

• Good service, good prices well rounded menu too.
• The seats could be a bit more comfortable.

“I like the poky dot because it is always filled with friendly waitresses and they are very attentive, and try their best to help you get your needed required foods, whether are a restrictive diet or something you just want to try for the first time. Very good prices, and plenty of food for the money too.”

• High prices.

“I love their food! The have great tacos, wings, French fries & blue cheese dressing, and the best guacamole I have ever had! The food is priced high, but the quality keeps me coming back! The service is ok b/c some of the wait staff never smiles, but once again the food is worth more than smiles!”

• Tables in rear room are not very private.

“Great family owned restaurant! Always busy, but never more than a few minute wait for a table. Service is always prompt and polite. Good daily specials, you can go as far upscale as you like, or just stop in for pie and coffee! Great pies made in house! Great of r breakfast, lunch or dinner!”

• Well, at least the bathroom was clean.
• Food was awful.

“Horrid food. They use that fake plastic bright-orange "nacho cheese sauce" on everything, instead of real cheese. Portions were tiny also and there was no hot sauce or salsa available, even though it touts itself as a Mexican place.”

• Best steaks ever!
• A little short handed with wait staff.

“Backwoods Grill is a great restaurant! It is small and has a rustic feel. (Bears in the corner.) The steaks are the best ever! Try them with mushrooms. They have a lot of special dishes. My kids love the appetizer "French Fry Frenzy." They also have a super sandwich called "The Gobbler." It has turkey, cream cheese and just a touch of cranberry sauce. It is awesome! Their one of a kind house dressing is a highlight of every salad. Don't think you are in the woods, when you eat there. It is a great place to just unwind and have a great meal. ”
