• I like the General Tso's chicken.
• Communication is a little abrupt when ordering on the phone.

“We go there from time to time and are pleased overall with the quality of the food. Charles Town is not a huge town and certainly not fancy, this is in line with what you might exepect here. Basic, but not in a bad way.”

• Coffee was awesome.
• Absolutely nothing.

“The best breakfast ever. Their coffee is so smooth and the best I have ever had anywhere. Its worth the trip for a wonderful breakfast!”

• It was close to the casino, and places to eat.
• There was no clock, or coffee maker in the room.

“The room and price was reasonable for the area (casino), the staff was very friendly and courteous, the only thing needed was a clock to be in the room to see what time it is, and a coffee maker so you don't have to go to the lobby. Also it's very close to the casino, so that's a major plus. I will definitely stay here again.”

• Melt in your mouth steak, and broiled crab cakes with little filler.
• Serves no alcohol, but we're there to eat. Right?

“I travel all over, but john's is still my favorite after living in Charles town 30 years. The steaks are mouthwatering, crab cakes full of crab meat and little filler, vegetables just crisp enough. Just a great place and one you can always count on to come through for you!”

• Vegetable Lo Mien, Singapore Noodles, Hunan Chicken.
• Atmosphere is a bit dated.

“The tastiest Chinese food in Charles Town. Hands down! Great veggie lo Mein and great Singapore noodles. Also, don't miss the Hunan Chicken if you like spice.”
