“Good location on Capital St. Tried the homemade vanilla frozen yogurt, pecan and cranberry salad and the vegetarian chili. Yogurt was some of the best I ever had. Worth the cash only limitation.”

“Went to this location 3 times for lunch while in town for business. Interior was relaxing and laid back. Loved the leather couch and chairs over by the fireplace. Turkey wrap were delicious. I loved the Cuban Panini. Give the Cuban sandwich a try. Did not have time to try the coffees.”

“I was in town for business and my client suggested that we go here. The food was excellent along with everything else. The meatballs were the best that I have ever had. I had previously tried the other Italian restaurant (Joe Faz.), but this make theirs taste like Chef-boy-r-d.”

“I was in the Tudors my husband and I was having a conversation about the Tudors near Campbell Creek WV about how good the service was and the one dark haired girl that works in the Bigley Ave store, made the remark why didn't you go there. It would have been different if we were talking to her. I will go to the other Tudors except this. Some of the people that work there need to mind their own business, when others are having their meals and making remarks like the one that was made.”

“Very good food but chicken teriyaki pieces are a little big.”

“We arrived at opening time (5 pm) and were seated immediately. Our server was extremely polite, friendly, yet professional, and was quite attentive during our stay there. The drinks came immediately, as well as the food. The salad was very large for a salad with entree, and had plenty of veggies. The house dressing was a tad bit sour, but good nonetheless. The filet was truly excellent, probably one of the best restaurant filets I have had in many years! The side of fettucine was very good, but could have used a bit more cheese.. The bread was quite good, and very garlicky (to my pleasant surprise). We had dessert, consisting of a piece of strawberry cheesecake, which was reportedly good, and my wedding cake, which was good and tasty, but may not have been homemade, to my disappointment. The waiter was excellent in his timing of his checks on us-not too many but we never had to call for him either. The price overall, was expensive, but for the amount and quality of food, coupled with excellent service, was worth the price.”

“My husband had spaghetti with meatballs and sausage combination. I had veal picatta. Both were delicious. Great American Italian food. Restaurant has been in the same place for 56 years. We wanted to go back for another meal but they were closed on Mondays. Sheila was our waitress.”

“After a dinner with a friend, we wanted some ice cream and stopped by Ellen's. I asked if she makes her own ice cream, and she replied with a positive "YES!" At the time I didn't realize I was talking to Ellen herself. Later I found out she is very involved in the symphony, yet still keeps up that good business.”

“This is a great restaurant! I used to go there when I was little and I loved it! All the staff are friends of my family and I would hate to let them down! I would recommend this restaurant to large families going to have a relaxing dinner. I'll bet you'd enjoy it.”
