User Reviews for Spokane Restaurants« Go back to Austria AttractionsResearch User Reviews for Spokane (1-20 of 24)Thai Bamboo Restaurant
“Excellent and delicious healthy food and service at good prices. One of the few places that you can find delicious food while at the same time feel good because most all the food choices are so healthy. Thai Bamboo was the best Thai restaurant by far. Huge menu, excellent authentic food, wild over-the-top decor and friendly fast service. The place was huge and with a open air lounge too. Huge stylish restaurant, its already a landmark. They have a big banquet room and a Galaxy Lounge with opening glass garage doors so it's open air in the summer, live music and drinks. Always consistent service, great food and good times here!”

“Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Chicken was over cooked so much it imitated jerky and sauce was poorly seasoned. I learned that it is a good idea to skip Chinese restaurants with American food on the menu (hamburgers, meatloaf, etc.).”

“The location is fairly convenient, but there is no public restroom on that floor. The owner is funny and personable. The food is reasonably priced, reasonably portioned and fresh.”

“The food is soggy by the time it actually arrives, the vegetables are overcooked. I heard somewhere they use MSG. Poor phone customer service - like the people who think they don't have to be nice to have business. Once I ordered lunch and they charged me for a dinner as opposed to the lunch - it wasn't even 1:30pm!”

“Went once with my sister. Won't return. Food was average, but the wait was so long that it spoiled overall effect of the meal. It was 1/2 hour from the time we sat until the time we were served. To add insult to injury, no bread, crackers or any type of food was served to munch on while we waited. One might expect a delay at lunch time if the restaurant was exceptionally busy, but it was far from busy - probably for a good reason! It did not help that we had a busy day planned, so our stop at the Onion needed to have been much shorter!”

“Love the food and the people. I can't wait for them to open up their outside so we can sit in the warm sun!”

“The food was to die for. I had the shrimp Aragosta, one of their specials. The wait to get in (40 min.) Was well worth it. I looked it up on the internet to find other cities with tomato street and found that it's only in Spokane. I did also see another over in couer'd alene, though. I hope the restaurant will spread to other cities (great falls, MT possibly?) .”

“I love this place. My husband and I have been going here for 9 years and introduced sushi to my son when he was thirteen. He now goes on regular bases with his wife and daughter. We love the salad and dressing as well as the sushi and dinners. This place is wonderful. It's not the best for atmosphere and really needs a remodel but great food.”

“I am a single senior citizen and I enjoy eating out quite a lot. I have been to several Old Spaghetti Factories in the U.S. and it appears to me that no matter when I go, it is a circus atmosphere; it seems if you have a large group, which almost includes several children, you get preference in service. I'm not saying that I want anything special, it is just to be recognized as a lone diner, as my experience in Spokane the week of June 3, 2007, I had 3 separate people wait on me, not one asked how the meal was, I had asked 2 separate wait persons for several things, I never received them. It appears to me and other people of my age and if you are a single diner, stays away from these establishments. For the price I paid and being ignored, I will and encourage others to go to perhaps Olive Garden, if they choose chain type establishments.”

“Zips have the best fries, tarter sauce and corndogs around. And you get good food for little money.”

“You cannot beat the view of the river from clinks and the flour mill is an interesting place to spend a few hours in it. However, there are almost no menu items for vegetarians, my reservation of a window table was arbitrarily changed to a table inside, and the food is extremely expensive. It's well-cooked and attractive, but not out of the ordinary for an above-average restaurant. Clink dagger is a fine occasion place and is suitable for anyone traveling on an expense account.”

“Customer service at division loc. Was some of the worst of any fast food place Iżve been to. Their workforce is a bunch of sullen teenagers. Food might have tasted better to me if I hadn't left feeling like my children and I had been such an inconvenience to the employees.”

“I really enjoyed the fun atmosphere of this restaurant. Very nice. Could be romantic- but not really a first date sort of place. Great food- mostly American food. A fun and sort of upscale place to have a gourmet burger and wear your nice jeans. ”

“Zips is a 50+ year old locally owned restaurant, with great value (6 burgers + tub of fries for $5.99). They make their own, great tartar sauce and several tasty burgers, unique to their restaurant Most notably the 'papa Joe'. ”

“Upscale restaurant in every way. Superb food and service. Great fresh seafood and choice stacks, as well as many other house dishes. Located on the Spokane diver downtown in the old flour mill gives this place a very charming feel. Be sure to save room for a piece of their chocolate cake, it outrageously good. THE FINEST DINNING IN SPOKANE HANDS DOWN.”

“Great little sports bar. 21+ only. Very clean and friendly. Tons of flats screen TV's , almost too many to choose from with all the games on. Super good sandwiches, hot dogs, and great appetizers. This is the best sports bar I've found in this town.”

“We had our wedding Rehearsal Dinner there in there ballroom! It was Awesome. All my family loved the food and raved about it for months. The dining room is somewhat romantic but not wine romantic but defintely a find dinner place for a date or anniversary.”

“We went to Milford's for the first time recently and had a wonderful evening. The owners were there and made sure everything was great. It was my birthday and the service was wonderful. The food was fantastic. My wife had fish and I had scallops. The sauces were perfect. The vegetables were fresh. Everything was great. They were very accommodating for our 2 year old and didn't mind at all that she was with us. This restaurant wasn't real formal but I like that (for example, there was a ball game on the TV in the corner but the volume was turned down, works for me!). The service was great and the food was simply delicious. We had a great night out and we'll definitely be back, the next time we visit Spokane.”
