• Outstanding food.

“Every once in awhile you come across someplace in your travels that is just truly outstanding. This is Stevens. What a find! Everything about this place is just, "Peachy Keen!" The best part is the food. We were there at lunch, but I have to believe that dinner is just as grand. I had an eclectic but great combination of chicken and brie sandwich with a cup of hot and sour soup. The sandwich was hot and crispy, and oozing melted brie, with lettuce red onion and a bunch of other truly outstanding stuff. The soup was not too hot or sour, chuck full of veggies, mushrooms and chicken, a meal in itself! Eating at this place is like money in the bank - makes you feel real good!”

• The food is delicious and well presented.
• Parking can be a bit of a pain.

“Stevens has an incredible salad with fresh mango, red onion and shrimp with an incredible dressing that is amazing. It's hard for me to order anything else because it's so good! The Atmosphere has a rather Parisian feeling to me with antiques, artwork and a full service bar tucked up in a cozy alcove above the dining room The wait staff are pleasant and efficient without hovering and are willing to take special requests to the chef who is very accommodating. For an intimate evening out or lunch with the whole family, Stevens is a not miss if you find yourself in the Shelton, Washington area. Enjoy! Leslie.”

“Of course, you might like to eat at the restaurant just across the street at 3001 Olympic hwy. N, which you list as burger master, but has actually been called roosters for a year or two.”

• No cookbook or other souvenirs on site to purchase!

“Wow! Wonderful seafood with an Asian twist! Great beef and chicken items too for non seafood lovers! Her egg rolls are the perfect way to start off the meal as is the raw oyster plate - Kumomotos, pacific, Olympians, Virginias. Entrees include oysters, manila clams, shrimp, mussels, crab, geodic; lobster (on special occasions), fish (seasonally available), beef and chicken served a variety of ways. From the curry items to the prawn salad, this is a place worth driving too even with the high gas prices. Menu items are reasonably priced, where else can you get pan-fried geodic for less than an arm and a leg! A must stop if you are traveling through Shelton or want to experience seafood done right!”
