“Our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner was reserved to be held at Armando's. The actual rehearsal was 35 miles away. That night there was a freak snowstorm, and I knew we were going to be delayed. I called the restaurant enroute, apprised them of the situation, and they stayed open for us (we arrived 1 minute after closing). The 26 of us had then entire restaurant to ourselves. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was friendly and polished. I would recommend this Renton Cafe to anyone!”

“I would strongly recommend anybody not to visit this restaurant. It is a terribly unfriendly place, especially for vegetarians. The waitress could not care to find out if I wanted a side order of a salad or soup after taking my order for a vegetarian entree. Everybody else in our group who had ordered an entree was of course given the choice of a soup or salad! I finally got a side salad delivered to me after the third reminder with pepperoni pieces in it, defeating the whole purpose of having ordered a vegetarian entree. Perhaps the waitress was getting back at me for reminding her about my side order! I would characterize their practice as totally unethical because they were charging a flat fee per plate for the whole group. As for the food, it is perhaps the worst Italian entree I have ever eaten. The pasta was cold and barely cooked and was delivered just before the last person in the group got her food. Wonder why it took so long when it was not even cooked. If I was pushed to come up with something positive, the only thing that comes to my mind is that it is not a cramped place. Overall, a must avoid restaurant! I can come up with. .”

“Great for a quick and inexpensive meal. Their antipasto salad is wonderful and so their lentil and sausage soup (if you like lentil soup). Minestrone soup is excellent also as are the pizzas. For soup and salad you can't beat the price of $6.99.”

“This place looks like a run down hole in the wall till you try the food, it is very good, not a lot of selection here but just good teriyaki and good pho and for the price hard to beat. The people are nice, and the place is clean. That's all I care about. It may not look like much but its one of the best values, and some of the best Pho you can get in Downtown Renton. The only real complaint is the hours of operation, they close at 8 on weekdays, 4 on Saturdays and they're closed on Sundays.”
