• Nothing.
• Food overcooked, out of: Special, Tenderloin, prime rib, Steak sauce!

“So on a holiday night, there was a wait, that was okay. Holidays are busy, what was frustrating is that the wait was because of the lack of staff. For the two hours I was waiting, there was a table available right next to where we were waiting. After that time there was a hour wait for our food after ordering, the waiter was horrible, even sweating and clearly not well kept. Then my steak was over cooked. Drinks took forever to get refilled. Did they not know that people would go out on New years eve? To top everything off, they were out of ribs, prime rib, slow roast, special at 8pm. Then, seriously this is when I was flabbergasted, they were out of steak sauce. After this night I am swearing off outback for 2009. Good luck enjoying this place.”

• The waiter and hostess were very nice!
• The food was awful!

“We took my mother there for her 89th birthday. Can't say I ever care to return. Out of 13 dinners only four people were happy with their meals. All of the steaks were cold and the broccoli wasn't even cooked. It took so long to get our food that nobody was about to send it back for fear of waiting another hour.”

• Food was great, service good and prices were great.
• Decor lacking (downstairs).

“My wife and I have lived in the area for 10 years. We're pretty well traveled and have done our downtown time. Italian food done in a unique way, their seafood dishes are always a treat. Honestly, the decor is their biggest shortcoming. The best part is the prices aren't even close to downtown. We also found you can get a break on the cost of a bottle of wine if you get the coupon off. I have never written a review about a restaurant before, but I saw someone had written a negative review and I wouldn't want that to be what kept you from visiting at least once. The food will not disappoint - I promise.”

• It used to be fast and friendly, make drink was great.
• Dirty, slower than ever and rude.

“Slow. No one was friendly and my drink was always made wrong. I waited 10 minutes for my drink. Tasted like drink and they would not even remake it.”

• As at all mcmenamins, the beer is fantastic :).
• Service, service, service.

“Great beer :) service was very slow, waiter messed up both my beer and food orders, French free were soggy, captain neon burger was good. Usually the mcmenamins pubs have great food and service (at least in the Portland area) I was excited to find one while in brothel, but due to being under whelmed, I won't be back.”

• Leaving the place.
• Their pompous arrogant attitude.

“I make always a point to support the local businesses in lieu of the big chains. But Stella Mia showed me why people are going away from small businesses. They overcharged for below average food. They even charged extra to split an order for my kids! The service was awful and the food was even worse. Uninspired heavy handed food. I had Gnocci with Gorgonzola and my wife had Pasta Al Polo. My plate tasted bitter probably because the cheese was overcooked and my wife's plate had some rubbery boiled and grilled rubbery chicken. Not to mention that the white sauces were way too heavy. I can't believe people like this place. I left there feeling sick, soon after both my wife and daughter fell sick too. You have been warned. Stay away!”
