• Absolutely loved the Chicken Salad.
• Was very turned off by the negative attitude of the owners.

“I loved the bakery products (assorted muffins, pastries and pies). I absolutely love the homemade Chicken Salad, but the negative attitude of the staff is a turn-off. There really is no positive customer service. I would go every weekend if it weren't for the staff's negative attitude.”

“The food was decent. We ordered pizza. It was okay, but not the best we've ever had. Service was very slow. We had to stop waitresses to get drink refills, boxes, etc. If we didn't stop them to ask for something, they wouldn't have stopped. They walked by our table numerous times.”

• Canned/processed tasting sauces.

“The atmosphere is less old-world Italian and more cheap knock-off. The food is fairy unimaginative and lacks freshness. The portions are very large, though the prices seem a little high for such a small town. Service is OK and pretty quick but not as friendly as I have come to expect from local restaurants. Overall, it's good for an occasional excuse not to dirty my own kitchen but not among my favorites.”

• The food is always hot and the staff very welcoming and friendly.
• The customers who come in and disrespect the staff just to get free food!

“Battery park grill was a pleasant find for us. We were out for a spontaneous meal, not knowing what was in town. The food and service were both very good. The atmosphere was warm and quaint. We'll go back again.”

• Sometimes it can take a long time to get your food, but it's fresh.
