• Food was good.
• Staff was incompetent.

“Service is terrible! Actually had words with the wait staff and asked to speak to a manager, the manager didn't even have the nerve to show himself! We left without paying and the waitress who cared more to go out back and smoke than to do her job, said she was calling the police. Go ahead, we had our lawyer with us. Nothing could happen after the drama she displayed! Really unforgettable experience! This was a while back, and it still haunts the group of us.”

• The whole general authentic good Indian restaurant. Doing it right.
• Genuinely hotter/spicy Indian dish. Go for it express yourself.

“When asked where I want to go for dinner. Nawab. I crave the Chicken Korma. It makes me make yummy noises. Complete satisfaction. Great job guys. Keep on smiling.”

• The manager was friendly & helpful, the staff was pleasant happy and the place was clean!
• Nothing at all!

“This was my first visit to Chick-fil-A and it won't be my last. The manager was so passionate about his product and took the time to explain the process of breading and cooking their famous chicken. My family was in VA for a wedding, and looking for something light for a late-night supper. Chick-fil-A was perfect. The sandwiches got a two thumbs up from my husband and daughter. My daughter also claimed the fries were the best she'd ever had. I enjoyed the nuggets and was pleasantly surprised to find they were actual chicken pieces and not at all like other fast food chains. We will be back! Why oh why hasn't this chain come to New York? Some one could really make a lot of money! Thank you!”

• I love almost everything about this restaurant.
• It is a little expensive, but you get more than enough food. I usually eat a share plate and don't finish all I get.

“Since the renovations at Kabuki in Roanoke, the place is absolutely wonderful! The cooks put on a great show while cooking a terrific meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a fun and delicious meal.”

• Great service and terrific food.
• No dollar menu.

“I had a wonderful experience at this specific Sonic! The food was fresh and hot. The waitress went out of her way to tend to me and all the other customers that were there. This sonic is by far the best one that I've ever been to! The orders are always correct and they get the food out faster than any of the ones in this area. The best part is the customer service and the store management. Everyone was polite and very friendly.”

• I don't live in Roanoke!

“Needless to say this is my favorite restaurant that I have eaten. The food is excellent, nice service, and atmosphere. My favorite dish on the menu is Frango Baiano which is excellent.”

• Friendly wait staff.
• Dirty.

“We used to love this place, but over the years it has really went down hill. The carpet is so dirty your shoes stick to the floor, the dinnerware and glasses is really run down as well, with chips , scratches etc. The food in no way tastes as fresh as it used to even the cooks are not as "talented" as they used to be. Our Lobster and scallops were burnt, even the mushrooms were char grilled. The service was slow and they now have a bus boy that starts to clean all around you while you are still eating. We were very upset when we complained we got a "sorry" and asked if we wanted 5% off of our next visit SORRY no next visit here very sad we have frequented this place about a "zillion" times and for $160 a dinner no more.”

• Freshness of the seafood.
• Needs more lobster dishes, maybe a lobster cocktail.

“If you want fresh seafood this is the place to be. My favorite are the fresh oysters they say come in weekly. We also like to go on Thursday night when the steamed shrimp are 2 lbs for the price of one. Also, the crab cakes are made fresh there and they are great!! The atmosphere is family friendly and the wait staff are always willing to go the extra mile. If you leave hungry there is something wrong.”

• The food, the view and the prompt service.
• The fake water feature.

“As the previous review stated, service was efficient, but I saw that as a positive. I hate waiting for the bill when I am finished eating. The food was excellent. The appetizer (crab filled mushrooms were the best). Our food was very good and we will return many times in the future. The price is a little on the high side, but it is obvious they use quality ingredients in the food they prepare. A great place for a special meal.”

• Great food, Great service, Ambient Atmosphere.
• A painful experience to your wallet, but worth every penny.

“This is perhaps the ritziest of all restaurant choices in the Roanoke Valley. The well appointed decor gives the instant impression that you're in for a dining experience, not just going out for dinner. The food was expertly created for my party by some of the best chefs in the state. The service was truly outstanding from the miter's down to the wait staff. As I recall, the wait staff ratio was 1 to every two guests, even at the same table. This probably would not be the best place for business travelers, as the pricey menu may not be compatible with most corporate expense reports. This is, however, a great place for a romantic dinner or special occasion, but don't expect to walk in off the street in shorts and Birkenstocks, because they enforce a jacket policy.”

“The food is consistently good. It is hot. Their tea is excellent. Service is quick - although normally I call in for take out which is kept hot until I pick it up. The buffet is almost never cold.We eat at least once a week take out and at least every two week buffet.”
