Greenhouse Restaurant

• Great bar atmosphere.
• Inconsistent food.

“While we waited for the rest of our party of nine to arrive we had a drink at the bar and the atmosphere and service was excellent. Thinking that good things were in store for us in the future I was disappointed when we were finally seated. The fried olives were amazing and the calamari was pretty standard. The soup arrived and was a big disappointment. The tomato basil soup was bland with no basil flavor and filled with potatoes and various other vegetables. Not my idea of tomato basil soup. When our entrees arrived the discrepancy between the quality of two of the same dishes was astonishing. Two of our party ordered the tenderloins and the while one of the dishes was what you would expect, the other was tough and almost inedible. Other dishes that were ordered were okay, but nothing to write home about. The one thing that we all agreed on were that The Greenhouse knows how to make potatoes. While the sweet potato fries were cold, the mashed potatoes were excellent.”

• I like cloth table covers and napkins.
• I did not find anything negative.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The service was great but it was the food that really astonished me, there are several different selections not normally found in a small cafe. This is not your usual run of the mill Chinese restaurant but can be taken seriously by someone looking for good Chinese food.”

• Margaritas and staff are great.
• Tables are too much, it's like the classifieds.

“I am very picking when it comes to restaurant dining; this on the other hand was different. Great people, nice wait staff, different tables, more of a great business lunch feel. The set up is more of a cafeteria set up. I do not recommend a dinner date to the rest, because this is just too comfy of a spot. Great bar and food!”

• Food Was terrible-

“The Brisket gave me a stomach ache for 2 days. The new owners really suck at making BB-Q.The employees are hard to understand and do not understand english very well. They will screw up your order!I would'nt even give the scraps to my dog!”
