“Last summer I ordered the Olympian pizza, it was outstanding - fresh spinach, artichokes, fresh tomatoes, feta cheese. Huge, enough to bring home for my whole family. Today I ordered the same, the crust was soggy from watery tomatoes, and no spinach. When I pointed it out, the waitress said she would speak to the manager. But, instead of making me another pizza, they gave me a plate of saluted spinach to put on the pizza myself. They should have apologized and made me another pizza.”

• Food was hot, cooked well and tasted great.

“Its a local spot. Plain and simple. Local, small dive and not always friendly. Never bring the family to a bar. Food is pretty good for the selection they have. Wait staff is mainly skanks who think they are gods gift to womanhood and their attitude shows it. Must be from the clientel they get. I will be back tomorrow! No I will not unless they have a good band.”

• Waiters are very friendly and always come back to check if you need something.

“Something about this place. Every time I go there, I get very sick. No one else seems to get sick in my family. Customer service is exceptionally well. The food comes out within minutes of placing the order. I don't think they are cooking the food long enough.”

• Unprofessional owner and server.

“I have been frequenting Bardo for several years now as I have known one of the owners and a server through some friends. I recently went to Bardo last week and was absolutely appalled by the unprofessionalism and lack of taste both the owner and his server had towards me and my out of town guest. Due to family problems this owner and server (who are dating) are having with my friends' family, I was told by the owner "that I did not have to leave, but I was not welcomed there" and then verbally attacked by the server raising her voice and continuously calling me fat in front of the crowded restaurant. She even threatened to pour water all over me if I stayed in the restaurant. I was treated so poorly and so disrespectfully in a place of business. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Their lack of understanding the difference between professional business and personal issues has not only embarrassed and upset me, but has ruined my image of the entire restaurant.”

• Food! Yummy food!
• A bit noisy.

“Love Bar do! We wandered in for lunch, not expecting much, and were wowed. We went back for dinner the next day and were disappointed that we could not go back a 3d time. Everyone loved the food, including my picky 11 year old. Lots of small plates, a chef with a sense of humor, and yummy desserts. What's to be bad?”

• Best Italian food/PIZZA by far!
• Restaurant is a bit drab but the food makes up for it.

“So you are always looking for the best pizza in town. Well look no further as you have just found the very best pizza outside of New York! And possibly inside of New York, for that matter. You will not be disappointed ever! The Italian salad with their dressing is also ranked at the very top. Don't miss out on the Linguine with white clam sauce either. The best I have ever had! This very casual Italian restaurant is just what everyone has been searching for. Italian food to warm your soul!”

“The food is ok. Not spectacular. Pizza is good but greasy! The wait staff is alright! The one we had was a rude, rude foreigner! Drinks are a rip off and some of the food for the price is not worth your money! I would not eat hear again! That is my opinion though!”

• Food and atmosphere were excellent.
• Our server was sporadic in her trips to the table.

“I went there about a month ago on a week night. It wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. There were four of us and we ordered from the Tapas menu. We probably ordered 10 different dishes. My favorites were the Cremini mushrooms and Hummus, but I have to say that I didn't have anything that I didn't like. The food was excellent. The place was kind of small and I hear that it gets crowded there on play nights. I would highly recommend this restaurant.”

• The food is great and the staff is friendly.
• The servers seem to forget to bring additional items when requested.

“I enjoy eating here as the food is fresh and prepared before you. It is "All-You-Can-Eat" for $9.99. The staff is friendly although they don't always seem to understand English well so if you ask for extra napkins or additional items they are slow to bring them or forget altogether. There is not usually a wait and you are able to get in and be seated immediately. This is one of my favorite spots to dine when I don't want to wait and I want a delicious meal.”

“Went to dinner in a group of 15 people, work related. Last ones to arrive and our drinks were already on the table. This was the only way they would hold our table. We heard what was not done from the rest of the people. She gives other people our meal and leaves out some others order all together. She was nasty, and made rude remarks to half/ ignoring the other half of people at the table. This was a last minute arrangement.”

“Went with spouse on work dinner in a group of 15 people. We got there last and our drink was already on the table, watered down. It seems this was the only way they would hold our seat (not good). All we heard was what was not done from the rest of the people already there. We order, she gives other people our meal and leaves out some others order all together. She was nasty, rude, and poor manners. Making rude remarks to half and ignoring the other half of people at the table. I did not know this place was even there, and the only place they could find that they could get in at the last minute.”

• The warm welcome, open kitchen, the pizza chef thanked us and waved us goodnight.
• A little cold in the back of the restaurant, next time we will sit in front.

“Although we arrived late night, we were welcomed like we were family. We asked our server for a recommendation and she said her daughter made the best pizza in Norfolk. She also told us about the fabulous Greek salads, we told her we would take her up on the challenge. She knew what she was talking about! The pizza was wonderful, the Greek salad, the best I have ever had! We had enough to enjoy at the restaurant and plenty for lunch the next day. ”

• The value of the meal is worth the price.
• Sometimes the sports bar may get noisy if your there just for dinner.

“This place is great and has seating for dinners, and then has the option of the sports bar on the other side of the wall. Food is excellent for the price from gyro plates and great pizza! Also has the take-out, depending on when you go you can take your whole family, and on another day go there with your buds, to watch a game in the sports bar.”

• Small place, 70 seats, should make reservations.

“Great fried oysters, fried shrimp the rest of the menu is very much worth checking out but I can't get passed these two.”

• Anything you order is enough for at least 2, so it is definitely good value.

“Absolutely wonderful! The food is incredible, as well as the atmosphere. I have never felt so welcome and befriended by another restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. .”

• Bad service, slow service.

“I will never go back to this so called restaurant. I had to cancel my food order they to too long!!!! My friends and I were kicked out just for having a good time, the staff made us fell very unwelcome. By the way, the so called owner came out to hear r side of the story and did nothing! He rather stay with his slow wait staff then to have loyal customers. I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody don't waste your time or money! ”

• Excellent pizza and salad.
• Wait staff not very friendly.

“This is our favorite place for pizza. We used to live in Norfolk, and Regino's was right down the street from our house. Very convenient. Although we now live in Virginia Beach, we go out of our way to get their delicious pizza. The service is just OK, but the pizza and salads are fantastic. I recommend this place for pizza to everyone who asks about a good pizza place. If we're in a hurry, we'll order for pick-up. ”
