“Great neighborhood bar! daytime bartenders are not only cute, but kept me laughing! The prices are great and I can't wait to go back.”

“I loved visiting this restaurant which is located right across the street from the great Parks Mall in Arlington. It has a wide variety of Southern food like chicken fried steak and broccoli rice casserole. I also had the hot spinach artichoke dip with chipotle chips, it was the best dip I've ever had! The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I now go quite often.”

“Cheddar's is our favorite restaurant in Tyler. The serving size, quality, and price can't be beat. Our favorite dish is the "Key West Chechen and Shrimp". Although I do miss the fried shredded onions that it used to be served on. I would give anything for the bourbon glaze receipt.”

“I have been going to Studer's on Saturday nights now for quite a while and I think it is just the best place. The wait staff does an excellent job of keeping your drinks full and all of them are very nice. Staff is the greatest and always make everyone feel very welcome and even if you don't sing as good as you would like to they always encourage you to get up and sing another one. They do a wonderful job of keeping the place lively and fun. That's what's so great about this place. It's small enough that everyone knows your name, but big enough to handle all your friends. It's well light but not so bright that it's uncomfortable and you can smoke in this bar so if you have a problem with that then too bad. But it's not a smoky bar, it's well ventilated so non smokers can enjoy this place too. They have two pool tables and every now and then the owner puts out some food that you can munch on for nothing. Special events like birthdays and anniversaries are nice to have here because everyone makes you feel at home and it's always a good time.”

“I have been going to this bar on Saturday nights for quite a while now and always have a good time. The wait staff does an excellent job of keeping your drinks full and are very nice. (No stuck up north Dallas service here) Butch and Terri are a lot of fun and do a great job of keeping the party going and even if you don't sing as good as you'd like they always encourage you to sing another one. They make you feel welcome in this bar. Norm can have cheers. It really is a great place to go and have a good time. This is a hole in the wall place so if your looking for a big bar this ain't it but that's what's so great about it. Everybody knows your name here. It's like being around your extended family.”

“Mariano's used to be a good quality restaurant. Have been there a lot, and have always had good food. In the past few months the quality has gotten worse and worse. For instance, the last time I went there, I ordered the Chicken Fajita Chimichanga, when it came it was stuffed mainly with rice, and it had minimal chicken in it. Same thing has happened with a few of their other meals I have had in the past few months. Very disappointed.”

“The food was very bland and mushy. I got the Chile rellenos, chicken enchilada and cheese enchilada and they all tasted the same. I felt as though I was eating a cheap TV dinner. There were no spices at all, not even salt!”

“I love this place! It is an all time favorite of ours! Even though I don't live in Arlington any more, I still get excited about being in the DFW area, just so that I (we-friends and family), can have an afternoon at the "The Rose Garden Tea Room". The food is consistently delicious, and the ambiance of the room is so fine. The menu is unique, with Rose Iced Tea to die for, and crouton sticks that taste so delicious and delectable, that you wish they would never end. The quiche, the awesome soups, the pumpkin bread with strawberry creamed cheese spread makes your mouth water, like mine is doing now. The fresh fruit and freshest salads are scrumptious. I cannot say enough awesome things about this tea room, except that those who live in the DFW area are so lucky to have a Tea Room like this near by. We have had Bridesmaids luncheons, birthdays, get togethers, and "lets eat at "The Tea Room" for no other reason than we love this place", celebrations at "The Tea Room". The staff is always great to work with, and they bend over backwards for any kind of seating, be it large or small, just to make your visit wonderful. I highly recommend "The Rose Garden Tea Room", to anyone who is looking for a special afternoon with special friends or family. If you knew me, you would thank me a thousand times over for this recommendation. Congratulations, owners/managers of this tea room....you have done a wonderful job in making such a fine place to dine.”

“They have not washed the table cloths for years! There is a glass top on them, but, underneath is a stiff, filthy cloth. Also, they lied and said their desserts were homemade. Anyone with taste buds would know that it is ALL frozen as are their soups. Dust on the fans and rafters above. I cannot imagine what that kitchen must look like.”

“To celebrate my husband's birthday on Saturday, his mother called and made reservations at Hibachi 97 on Ballpark Way in Arlington on Friday. We had reservations for 4 at 7:30 p.m. We arrived at the restaurant at approximately 7:20. When we approached the host station, we were first told there was no reservation for our party. My mother in law discussed her reservation call with the hostess, but the hostess still insisted that no reservation had been made - we would just have to wait in line (long line, guests were being informed that it was an hour and a half wait). We then saw on the wait list that our name was indeed on the list as a reservation, but it had been crossed out. We showed the hostess where our name had been, and she said they cross the name off if someone calls in and cancels the reservation. Obviously, none of the 4 of us had called in because we arrived at our appropriate time for our reservation! Realizing that the hostess was being totally uncooperative and oppositional, we asked to speak to the manager. He came over and we explained the situation. The manager told the host to seat us at the next available opening. We stood and waited over 30 minutes until one of their large grill tables opened up. The hostess then walked past us and seated a large group of about 8 that were sitting in a waiting area (we assumed that we would be seated at the table following them). She walked past us again and went to a large group that was in line behind us that had walked in without a reservation - we knew this because we had a good deal of time to visit with them while waiting. She seated them and then there were 3 seats left. She walked over and pointed at us and then waved her finger at the 3 seats. Well let's see. 3 seats - 4 people. We asked to speak to the manager again, and he said "Do you want those seats or not?" We told him it was really bad business and he just mumbled and apparently was not going to do anything about it. At that point, we decided that we did not want them to have our business then (if we could ever get a seat) or ever. We left the restaurant and walked next door to Simply Fondue. They were booked with reservations, but were extremely courteous, apologetic and professional. We then drove to Colleyville to The Green Pepper Japanese Steakhouse and had a wonderful meal. Service, atmosphere, and food at The Green Pepper are definitely all "5"s! We ended the evening with a great birthday meal thanks to the wonderful people at The Green Pepper. If anyone wants a Japanese style meal with a great show (yes, they do the onion volcano, too) The Green Pepper is definitely the restaurant! Forget going to Hibachi 97 - it's crowded, noisy and not in the business of serving its clientele.”

“This tea room is in the Antiques and Moore building, located in the back. The tea room is a sufficient amount of space, very cute too. Very neat atmosphere with table clothed tables, brick walls, trees neatly decorated nicely lighted area that is very cozy! The tea is very good they have both hot and cold teas. I like to get the sampler. The sampler is a huge amount of food; it has a quiche of the day, a bowl of soup of the day, a serving of chicken salad, a fruit salad, and home baked bread with a delicious spread on it. I never really liked quiches but once I had theirs I was in love! My favorite being the green Chile quiche! They have a very yummy tortilla soup that has flour tortilla strip instead of corn which is a genius idea; they also do a French onion soup. The chicken salad is so good its not a dried out chicken salad or an overly mayoed salad, its just perfect. Its towards the sweet side but not overly sweet, it also has grapes in it. I like to eat it with the sweet bread. The Fruit salad is not just two pieces of fruit its a load of fruit, and fresh fruit, including kiwi, cantolope, watermelon, strawberries, grapes and more. It's also served with a lovely dip that Is always eaten up by every one its a sweet pink dip that I just dont know how to really describe, its just great! To top all of that off if you want a desert order it fast they are so good that they go and go fast! I forgot to mention the very yummy home made seasoned cruton sticks that are free starters! Its my favorite local tea room that I have found great amount of food for the price.”

“This particular sonic is one of the worst I have ever visited. The staff of 5 was standing around talking after I pushed the button for service. It was 9pm and I was the only customer at the time. After waiting for 2 minutes I pushed the button again. Long story short, it took 7 minutes to get an orange slush. Also, the card reader they used was not working properly. It has not worked any time I have used it. This is a bad sonic and I cannot recommend visiting the facility.”

“It was my first time ordering and they delivered in the amount of they told me over the phone. The food was better than I expected and was still nice n hot when I got it. I even asked for a number of extra dressings and sides and not one of them was missing. I was very impressed because in most delivery service you're at least missing one or two key things that you asked for in your order.”

“This establishment is a malignant tumor on any city that it resides in drawing in all the cities unfavorable elements like a black hole. Note to Law Enforcement when serving a warrant, if they are not at home they are probably at Cheddars.”

“Some of the better Chinese food in the Metroplex. I have been to many, many other Chinese restaurants in the area more than disappointed. Call ahead for swift pick up turn around. Walk in will wait while food is prepared fresh when ordered. Have not tried delivery.”

“The restaurant was dirty, including windows. The silverware was dirty; I went through several sets before I found clean ones. Not much variety of foods to choose from. Serving plates and bowls had sitting water in them. Server did not clean up used plates or bring clean plates with out being asked. Several of the waitress looked like they came off a pirate ship, very haggard looking. The manager was no where to be found, when a restaurant is doing well and they are proud the manager roams the dining area. Not the case here. I went there because I thought they were how I remembered them on a prior visit. The place needs to be torn down and made way for a better restaurant. After I get done here I will be reporting them to the health department. Steer clear of this place; there are other restaurants in the area more worthy.”

“The chef dropped my food on the table when trying to place it on my plate, scooped it up off the table and placed it in my plate. The manager was very rude and unprofessional.”

“This is a very nice restaurant. White table cloths cover the tables. Very nice place for a date and dinner, unless you want to talk. The food is very good and not over priced. When the restaurant is full the noise level can get loud. That is the only draw back the place. The service has always been very quick and aware of you needs. Beer in the bar is! Cold!”

“We love this place. Even my two year old is always asking if we are going to anilities! The food is good, the service is relatively quick and it is a good value for the money you pay. They have never brought out the incorrect meal. They are quick to bring over chips and salsa when you arrive. Everything is relatively inexpensive and tasty. Love it!”

“It is just simply the best place for lunch in the DFW Area. The food is always very good and the service is super. For the many who still have to punch a clock, { man, am I glad those days have long passed } the food comes out quickly and is as good as you can get. One more thing, they somehow have kept the prices down to a level that all can afford.”

“Hands down the best Hibachi joint in Tarrent country. My wife and I eat there as much as we can. The only drawback is the price. Each meal will run you about $20, they do however have coupons if you live in Arlington for one free meal. Last time we were there a couple gave us an extra they had and it made it $20 for 2 people for a fine dinner.”

“If you want a GREAT old fashioned burger at a great price go to Airways. Free refills on the sodas. They have cold bottled beer in an iced down tub. Nothing fancy just great food. You can get a chili burger or a chili dog as well as other items on the menu. The decor is old aircraft artifacts and photos. You can wear shorts if the weather is hot, or you can wear your Sunday best if you have just come from church. Location is close to Ameriquest field where the TX Rangers play. You can eat here first then go to the game just 5 minutes away. If you are new to the area, it is a few city blocks South off of Interstate 30. There is a drive through if you are in a hurry to pick up your food. ”

“To whom it may concern, My family and I were visiting six flags last week we decided to go eat at cheddars instead of eating at the six flags restaurant. We were waiting at cheddars for 15-20 min and no one took our drink order. After waiting for so long my husband decided to look for the manager. It was not until then that they started taking any of our orders. This was our first visit to any of the cheddar's restaurant's. And it will be the last. The manager done his job he found a waiters to wait on us but it was not the waitress that was suppose to wait on us. We got free chips and hot sauce big deal. The food was terrific but yet the service stunk.”
