• Once you finally get your food, it is usually good - not always prepared your way, but edible none the less.
• It may take up to fifteen minutes to buy a Whopper at lunch or dinner time.

“If the people working in the kitchen would work as fast as the people taking and handing out the orders, it would be a much better place. It is the only BK within twenty or so miles, so if it is a Whopper you desire, then you are just stuck with the mediocre service at the Springfield BK. Everyone in Springfield knows just how bad this BK can be at the usual mealtimes. As a matter of fact, new businesses in town are gauged on the Springfield BK scale by the locals. You are actually better off going here, if it is between mealtimes. Perhaps it is the pressure of serving food at breakfast, lunch and dinner that throws the employees off their game. They seem to switch management and personnel quite often. Quick fix - then back to the hit or miss style again. There are two or three regular employees, that have managed to stay employed through all of the personnel changes. It is a shame they haven't taken some of that OJT, and learned how to make this a great experience, and to see that the food actually is prepared the way it is ordered, and served quickly.”

• Good ole Southern cooking.
• Not a family restaurant.

“A family ran business, GREAT home country cooking, opens early for breakfast and closes after lunch, it like a meat and 2 vegs or 3 vegs for lunch, and breakfast contains just about anything that is classified as a country breakfast item. Good place to grab a bite to eat and the best sweet tea around this area.”

• Service was ok but slow.
• Everything else.

“The food is very greasy, almost to the point of not being able to digest it. Even the steak tasted like fish. The service was ok in that the servers were friendly but very slow in getting back to you for common items such as refills on drinks. The sweet tea; well let's put it this way, 1 part tea and 9 parts sugar, not a good combination.”

• Great food, good prices and family atmosphere.
• Not a good romantic dinner restaurant.

“Good home cooking at it's best with small town atmosphere and friendly service. The menu includes steak and other seafood items for those who don't like catfish. There is also a good kids menu. Catfish House is very family friendly and great for large groups or tour buses. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. It's a great place to have a fun night out.”

• Great Catfish and very friendly service, ask for Jared, very nice restaurant.
• it is not romantic, it is just a great place to go eat.

“Great place for all Cattish lovers and also they have great steaks, I highly recommended this place, also if you want good service ask for Jared and tell him that you read a review and was recommended to him. I encourage all to go, great place to go eat on a Friday, or Saturday niter or even after church Sunday morning. Hours--Monday-Saturday 11am-9pm and Sunday 11:45 am-8pm”
