“I love the Italian Place, the food is consistent, you get a good value, and I can't find anything I crave like I do the steak and everything. I was in town for the Holidays and took my family to Provo store.”

“I literally cannot express how bad this place is, maybe if it was 40% cheaper than it is I wouldn't have hated it so much, but its pretty bad. How this places stays in business is truly beyond me. That's all. But go try it anyway, otherwise you'll always be curious.”

• I didn't get sick.
• I didn't get full. I ordered a Cheese steak and got something that wasn't even close.

“Apparently this place used to be pretty good. Little steak and less cheese, was considered an authentic Philly cheese steak but I have been to Philadelphia many times and this was no where near a real Cheese steak. Maybe I'm spoiled because I live in Salt Lake now and I have 2 or 3 real good options up there.”

• The sauce is really good, and my kids love the popcorn.
• Really lousy service, long waits, rude staff.

“The service at this location is abominable, slow and rude. The food is too expensive to have to put up with bad service ($12 for a burger and a coke). If you really have to have the wings, or the terribly-named Asphalt Pie (road surface) try a different location, maybe the Provo one.”

• Loved everything! I loved Steak and sweet potatoes!
• Can't think of a thing.

“I hadn't been to out back in years but in the last three weeks we have gone four times and the food just keeps getting better. (It was away really wonderful) we really love this restaurant.”

• I like the food, service, cleanliness. Everything.
• On the weekends, you usually have to wait an hour or so for a table.

“I love this place. The food and service are excellent. I have been there many times and each time I have been very impressed with the food and servers. I always order pollo Rosa Maria and it is the best dish that I have ever tasted. The bread that they serve you while you wait for you meal is served with olive oil and seasonings mixed together. I don't know what's in it, but it is very good. The serving size is big so you definitely get your moneys worth. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.”

• My "all time" favorite sandwich-- the "steak and everything".
• The fact that they do not have a location in Idaho falls.

• It was the best cheese steak I have ever had and well worth the money
• It is a low budget operation, but I like the hole-in-the wall atmosphere.

• great cheesesteak sandwich, cool atmosphere (Provo & AF locations)
• Orem location needs a facelift

“I've been going to The Italian Place for a long time and it is the best cheesesteak you can get out west. The sandwiches are big and the meat is not processed like a lot of places. I recommend this place to everyone”

• Orem location is quick and the food is good.
• Overpriced, Provo local tastes different and not good at all. Orem local need about a 10,000 dollar makeover.

“I went to both locations. The Orem location is a dump with decent food, and the Provo location is nice but the food tastes like crap. Maybe one day they'll figure it out. ”
