• Very good food.
• Didn't get everything we ordered and waitress didn't come around very much.

“It's a good place to eat. My husband and I eat here almost every time we come to the Mountains. Service is a little slow but the food is good and prices are reasonable. The food is very tasty.”

• Good crab cakes.
• Poor service and awful steaks.

“My husband paid $30.00 for a steak that was dry and had no flavor. My daughter wanted the potato skins, their were 8 in an order, but when she received them their was only four. They cut in them halves, and called it an order of 8. It was my daughters b-day and we told the waitress, she promised a sundae and they did not even knowledge it with singing to her. When we finished our meal their was no mention of her b-day or the sundae, why offer if your not going to follow through.”

• Liked the ice cream.
• DQ went out of business in Pigeon Forge.

“We stopped every year for ice cream here until two years ago and we found the DQ was gone and another brand ice cream place was there. Then last year, that place was gone and another type of business is there.”

• Seating is a bit cramped.

“I haven't had the dinner there but I have no complaints about their breakfast! My bf and I go there every time we vacation in Pigeon Forge, and we always leave happy and full. The service is great, they are quick on refills and bringing out more biscuits and gravy, etc. Seating is usually quick, depending on what time you go in the morning and on what day. It's pretty cheap as well, only paid around $14 for our breakfast last weekend.”

• Disliked taste of food/too much/wasteful.

“I was not impressed nor were the other 3 adults and 4 children (ages 11-18). Value for food, excellent, but who could eat all that food? I ordered the country fried catfish (3 large fillets, split with 12 yr old daughter and still did not eat it all), it was ok. Corn chowder was good, fritters were ok, salad was ok, pecan pie and peach cobbler was nasty IMHO. What a waste of food. We all took home to-go boxes and then through it away, a waste. We had grilled chicken, seafood platter, flounder (which was small and tough). Would not recommend or go back. Being from Louisiana, it is hard to find good seafood anywhere else other than the shorelines of Florida, Long Island, etc. Good price for what all you get, but if it is not good, then I do not consider it a good value.”

“Meat loaf. Cardboard with gravy. Potatoes, good, corn chowder not to me, green beans. Ok, coleslaw. Ok, service. Very good. Southern fried catfish. Ok.”

• Very poor waiter. Get better service at a fast food place.

“ The food at the cafe was very good but the poor service you get just over comes the great taste of the food. Dirty dishes were never removed from the table, asked for a drink refill and 25 min later never did get one. The cooks do a great job cooking the food but the waiter we had was a joke.”

• Food was good and wait was short.
• Wasn't quite what we were expecting...but we had lots of laughs and fun.

“My husband and I went there on our honeymoon. It may not have been the most romantic place but it was the most remember able experience. It is a must see for any country fan who has never been. Great decor of stars and items they once owned.”

• The wheel outside.
• The food.

“My husband and two children waited 1 1/2 hours for a table. We were seated at a table in a room that was so crowded that we could hardly move. It was very loud and uncomfortable. The food was not very good. I felt like I was an animal being herded to my trough, the food slapped in, presented with bill and then kicked out so as more animals could be feed. We would never eat here again or recommend it to anyone else.”

• Quick service.
• Dinner overpriced/bad quality of food (meats in particular).

“Dinner there was not impressive. I read up on the place before my trip to TN and thought it would be great. We hiked all day and were starving by the time that we arrived, so I figured that even if the food was just OK, it would taste good to me, but I was wrong :-( The Pecan pie was pretty good but my fried chicken was not ( KFC is better and cheaper). I am going to stick to the Apple Barn in Sevierville* as my all time favorite in TN.”

• May have a waiting line for dinner.

• Well worth the wait in line.

“We come to Pigeon Forge on a regular basis and we ALWAYS eat at least one meal at the Mill. The food is excellent the staff is friendly and the atmosphere makes every meal there a special occasion. The Old Mill is very kid friendly as well, sometimes the Grandkids are traveling with us.”

• Milk shake was thin, not enough Ice Cream, too much milk.

“We visited this Ice Cream store on Saturday May 27 around 8:00 pm. Four employees were working, 3 young men and a middle age lady. They bickered among themselves the entire time we were there. The place was filthy, in the patron area and behind the counter. If we had known there was a Marble Slab 2 doors down we would have left immediately. We went hunting an Ice Cream store as we were spending the weekend in the area. Extremely disappointed and a Banana Split $5.95? Guy that waited on us was smoking in parking lot and playing with a dog when we left. If I were betting, looking at everything that we witnessed did he wash his hands when he went back to work?”

• Great food, 50's style diner, open 24 hours.

“This restaurant is open 24 hours and is located just one block off the parkway. The food there is awesome. We eat there every time we go to Pigeon Forge.”

“Our group liked everything about this restaurant so much, we had breakfast there every morning we were in Pigeon Forget. The service was excellent and the wait staff were friendly and proficient. We would definitely visit this restaurant again.”
