  • Stingy business and not customer friendly.

“Okay, so the food at Fuji is good. I suggest going with the drive through though. If you eat inside you may be turned off by how rude the workers are. On one occasion I asked for a to go cup for my beverage so I could take it back to work. The server flat out told me sorry we don't have to go cups, you have a drive through so I know you have to go cups but whatever, I let it go. The next trip there I decided to ask the same thing just curious as to what the response would be. This time the server said I would have to ask the manager! Seriously? Wow that was the worst customer friendly response ever! If I come in to a restaurant to eat and tip a server I would like to think I could get a 15 cent cup to go. The last trip I will ever take there was with 4 other co-workers. We were eating when the server came over and took the bottle of mayo-sauce that they give you with each meal and said we had enough and were not allowed any more. OMG the owners are ridiculously stingy! I've been a server at several restaurants in the past while in college so I'm not picky but good lord this place is horrible! I know it's not a chain and they have to be a little bit more concerned on spending costs but sorry you lost a paying customer in the process.”

  • Love the salad bar and steaks! YUM!
  • Not very bright inside and could be updated a bit.

  • Quality food, reasonably priced, friendly staff.
  • Not enough locations.

“My husband was in town for job training when we stumbled upon this restaurant. Our family loved this place! It has something for everyone. I've never seen such a huge variety of quality foods. The waitress was awesome. Looks like we will be traveling 70 miles to our new favorite restaurant now.”

  • I liked the service and the food and the place was clean.
  • Too bad there isn't an Austin's in Harriman.

“I had a wonderful Ribeye cooked just right. My server not only was a good server, she was entertaining as well. She made me laugh. Austin's no longer has smoking in the building. I would much rather order my steak cooked by the cooks to order. Austin's has a fine selection of various foods and most of the servers are good. If you ever try Austin's, ask for Donna. You wont regret it.”

“I had been there a couple times in the late 90's and it was great but I have now had 2 bad experiences in the last year. Each time it was bad service, it seemed that We were a bother on our server she would huff and puff anytime we asked for anything. Food was ok but a little overpriced I think.”

  • Stupid kids plate rules.

“Love the food, but I wholeheartedly concur about the stupidity of not being able to order the smaller portion of a child's plate. I have a son who is 14 and they still won't let him order the kid's chicken platter even though that's the portion that he wanted. Hate this policy.”

  • Management policy and customer goodwill. That's it; deny a paying customer any item on the menu as you feel it might cost you a dollar.

“I have lived in Knoxville all of my 58 years and have always heard of Litton's and their great food, I have been by numerous times and wanted to stop but it was always crowded. Well, I finally made it there over the weekend along with my wife, we were excited and very hungry, after a short 15 minute wait, we were seated in a back area, really quaint and fun to be in. I had eyed the deserts in the front show case while waiting on a table and had decided on the strawberry shortcake, I never got it. Reason being, when we ordered my $12.00 burger and our drinks, my wife who watches her waist ask to order the child's burger at $4.99, she was told the owners had made it clear that no child's plate was to be served unless a child was present, my wife ended up eating a small cup of soup even though she wanted the burger. Mind you the adult burger was only $6.99 and not the issue here, but the fact that the owners are so shall we say money hungry as to deny a customers request. I was ready to exit but my wife insisted we stay and I concurred. When ask about the dessert, I told the waitress how I felt and refused the dessert along with the explanation that this was my first and last visit. I have never had this problem at any eatery in Knoxville before. Sorry to say the owner was not present or I could have had a lengthy discussion with him. I might add the server wasn't proud of the situation either and voiced her dismay with the owners as well. We did leave the 20% tip as always being the server was not the reason for our unpleasant experience. Just for the record my wife was going to order the soup as well as the child's burger and was looking forward to splitting my dessert. Seems like the owners not only spoiled it for what could have been a new customer, but lost an additional $10.00 in sales not to mention the loss of any future trips I might have made there. Go Texas Roadhouse, always a pleasant experience there. In closing, I wonder if I took my grandson there who is 11 and he wanted to order an adult meal, do you think the owners would deny him that service as the meal is not labeled a kids meal. I doubt that.”

“I have been eating at Litton¿s for years and I love it. They have the best hamburger and fry anywhere. The salad is sad; it needs to be made of mixed greens or spring mix. A steak that good needs a good salad to go with it! I only have one complaint. Please make your restaurant "smoke-free". It works in other cities and even our oldest restaurant in Knoxville, ragas, has become "smoke-free".”

“This place is the most discussing place I have ever been to. It's food have old condoms in it and the people in the back cooking the food were threatening to beat my child for sending back his Macaroni and cheese. I had a horrible experience at this place.”

  • Love the food.
  • Hate the cigarette smoke.

“Austin Steakhouse has the best food of any buffet in Knoxville. But the smell of the restaurant is the worst! It really needs better ventilation but the main problem is the cigarette smoke. I can not stand to go to the food bar and get my food because the smokers are right there. I have talked with the manager but he thinks he might loose customers if they make it nonsmoking is working for Ryan's...they are packed every day. Even Golden Corral is nonsmoking on Sundays until 7:00 P.M. It works in Florida, Massachusetts, and a number of other states so how about it Austin...when are you going "smoke-free"? Also, the last time I was there, they still did not have sirloin on the food bar. Golden Corral may cost a dollar more but all the steak you can eat is worth it. Thanks for your consideration.”
