• The ambiance
• Slow, rude service.

“I was lured into this restaurant by the warm, soft ambiance of the dining room. Little did I know this would turn out to be the worst dining experience that I've ever experienced in my life. We were seated far back in the outdoor seating, practically in the parking lot. With a party of 3, it took over an hour and a half from the time we were seated to the time that our entrees arrived. Meanwhile, several tables around us, including a table of seven who had arrived after us, and had a diabetic woman who threw a tantrum over the slow service, were served. The waiter was rude, unapologetic and shrugged off three requests for extra bread (we were given only 3 slices initially), as well as two inquiries about our appetizer by stating that he had 240 other customers to serve. The manager was reluctant to get involved and comped our original drinks and appetizer only after we pitched a fit. By that time I had a screaming headache and too angry to eat. What little I tasted of the Pasta was badly overcooked.”

• It's on the water with great views of the Hudson.
• Greedy, disrespectful - its great if you don't care about your money.

“Go there and feel the sticky bar counter, complain about it and don't leave a tip. But remember to write - no tip - on the provided area of your receipt because they will put one for you and when you complain about that, the manager will say you lied and tell you not to come back, not very friendly.”

• Great food docking.
• Booze crowd takes over.

“Absolutely a must stop for boaters on the Hudson River. Casual outdoor waterfront bar and restaurant floating barge. The best wings and shrimp of all kinds. Kid friendly during the day. I have never been there at night but imagine it's big with the boozers.”

“We stop their every time we go to PA. It has excellent burgers, and rice pudding. The Stewart platter with slaw, fries and burger with all the fresh trimmings is very satisfying. Good coffee too.”

• Unbelievably delicious pizza.
• The stinging insects that invade your space on the waterfront in summer.

“Ah to sit by the Hudson sipping iced tea and eating perhaps the best pizza in the area. I go two or three times a year and get the Quattro Formaggi Pizza, which is insanely good. They do excellent sandwiches as well. There is nothing about this place that I don't like. It's one of the first places I take friends to who are visiting from out of state.”

• The food is fresh and delicious, the service excellent.
• Took so long to discover!

“I love this place. It's too bad it took me years to find it and try it, but once I did, I was hooked. I am addicted to the shrimp tempura lunch box they serve. Lots of all that is good. Service is always wonderful here. I eagerly anticipate my next lunch here!”

• Everything else.

“The food was very average, the deck outside is nice as the view of the river is great. The inside is very strange with a cafeteria feel with these ugly plastic lights everywhere. The service was not the best and the food again was bland. I had a burger and Fuddruckers does a better job for sure. This place is overrated.”

“Good size portions, excellent prices, delicious food, and very friendly service. It makes me remember the show Named "cheers" for its friendliness. Where if you attend there regular everyone knows your Name. A place for the whole family can enjoy a good meal.”

• A pleasant, warm atmosphere, the fish aquarium is relaxing, pleasant personnel, who were very accommodating.
• Can't think of any negative things.

“Four of us ate there before attending an Army game. We had very good cocktails and sat overlooking the Hudson. The food was outstanding and came out exactly as ordered. The waitress, Ericka was very friendly and professional. All of us were very pleased with the entire meal, the appetizer of calamari, perfectly done, and it's accompanying garlic & marinara sauces were great<><><><>I would recommend this place to anyone. The ambiance is very nice. The bathrooms were very clean. It was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. ”

• Need to make interior improvements.

“I have being going to Barnstormer since its opening, Ribs used to be bigger/juicier now they are kind of small and dry; need to look into your cooking style. Don't loose it! Also need to fix the ceiling since there are missing tiles and your lighting features need to be replaced. Otherwise I do enjoy music and Atmosphere Oh, something else please add mashed potatoes to your menu and you should give a choice of warm/cold cornbread. Good luck!”

• Amazing food, great sides, great specials!
• Carpeting!! Looks cheesy, like an airport lounge - needs wood floors!

“Barnstormer is a GREAT BBQ place - it rivals any Southern BBQ joint for falling-off-the-bone chicken and ribs, pulled pork and delicious sides like sweet potato fries and excellent Cole slaw. It's strip mall location is NO indication of the amazing food inside! The service and atmosphere are casual and friendly. The decor is kitschy and cute, with old license plates and vintage signs - the only decor mistake is that they have carpeting on the floor!! they should have stuck with weathered wood floors... They also have great weeknight all-you-can-eat and drink specials. All in all, a great value and excellent food in a place perfect for friends and family!”

• The atmosphere and character .

“Newburgh Lunch provides that old, school feel, with fantastic food. when I was young I remember my grandmother taking me there, I can recall the original owner lining up the hotdogs on his forearm to put on the dressings, now, his grandson does the very same thing. The place has character and deserves a quick visit. Honestly the best hot dogs you will eat in your life and don't forget the meat sauce.”
