• Seems upscale when you first enter but families are welcome.
• They're closed on Mondays.

“A downtown Delaware landmark, bun's restaurant & bakery offer a variety of delicious menu items. My favorite is the shrimp Mediterranean, which I ask them to make with scallops instead of shrimp (personal preference, and a specialty dish they usually offer on the weekends). They have great steaks and pasta dishes, too. The staff is always attentive to the needs of our 2-year-old daughter, which anyone who has children knows can be a challenge. They bring her a portion of her meal at a time to keep her busy, as well as crayons and paper, and witty banter to keep her amused. They also accommodated my mother's food allergies by preparing her food especially for her.”

• Plenty of roomy seating for groups. Service is usually very good.
• Noise from the pool table and video games can be loud at times.

“Nice place. Not many restaurants in Delaware, this one has good food at a reasonable price. More of a bar type feel to it, but always has families in there. Plenty of roomy seating for groups. Service is usually very good. We go there quite a bit.”
