• Close to hospital.
• Workers very rude, restaurant very dirty.

“Upon arriving to count employees very loud and talking, ignoring anyone at the counter. I waited and finally stated excuse me. Young lady turned around with a look like I was disturbing her. She stated "Can I help you?" I was tired or I would of just left. I said yes I would like to order and started to state my order. She stated hold on. I waited a few minutes, placed my order and stepped down. Waited for I thought was a long time I cleared my throat and she was talking again and said Oh! she got my order and I went to sit down. Tables were not clean, floors had not been swept. My food was cold. The only good thing out of the meal was my soda. I would never return to that restaurant again. I thought if they have time to talk, why are they not cleaning? The manager or supervisor was involved in the chit chat going on. Not so happy.”

• Nice waitress.
• Food was terrible. Owner oblivious to customers. Filthy cups and utensils. I could go on.

“I am sure the restaurant is in violation of some health codes. I would not allow my dog to eat this food. It was horrible. The waitress was nice, however, no amount of hospitality could overshadow the horrible food and unkept decor. I have no idea as to how they are staying in business in downtown Columbus, OH. I heard it was a lunch favorite. However, the ladies restroom resembles and outhouse with no running water.”

“Still the best pizza in Ohio! These folks continue to surprise me year after year, the crust is perfect, the sauce is masterful and the place will be on my list of stops every time I get back to Ohio.”

• College kids like delivery, regardless of quality and service. Gyros are cheap.
• Customer service, food quality, size.

“Mediocre Greek food with an abysmal attitude. I ordered from this place several times without incident - I did find their non-gyro items to be a tad overpriced, and the gyros themselves, although cheap, are rather small. After avoiding them for a bit, I ordered from Apollo's again because they were the only ones delivering at the time.”

“Large portions and quality ingredient is the norm. Small vegetarian selection but they will custom make it if the ingredient are available. The place is modest but clean. Good value for the $.”

“Upon walking in, you are immediately caught up in the family atmosphere between the customers and the staff. A cozy dining area next to the open kitchen area, gave the holiday feel of sitting at the kitchen table while the family prepared a meal. It was obvious that the place was seeing lots of repeat business (always a good sign). We had pizza and salad. The large salad was big enough for four, with fresh sliced cheese. The pizza was the thinnest I have ever had. In times of health and diet, it was a welcome change. We found it crisp and evenly cooked without the extra dough filler. Toppings were plentiful. No tomato topping however. We saw others getting pasta. The single portions looked huge. I think the regulars knew something that we didn't. To see two pizza restaurants right next to each other, tells me that we made the right choice.”

• A cover charged for no reason.

“I was charged extra for a cover. When I asked the person at the door what band was playing he said there was no band. He also could not give me a reason why I was charged for the cover. was that not the cost of doing business? The food and service were good but the cover charge was not worth that. For the servers and bartenders sorry your tip was my cover charge.”

“I took five friends to Hogg's Restaurant because we all enjoy good barbeque. Unfortunately we did not find good barbeque here. The meals we received were merely average compared to other places offering barbeque. The pulled pork dinners were filled with fatty meat that did not have a desirable taste. The quality of the sauce was below average in my opinion. For some reason it seemed to take an exceptionally long time to be served after we ordered our meals even though the restaurant was not extremely busy. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly and relaxing. Too bad the rest of our experience did not live up to the billing.”

“I have been to Alex's Bistro about a dozen times over several years. It is always delicious, with extra attentive servers who are happy to please. Alex did a wonderful job of accommodating my husband's special dietary requirements with a recipe he made up just for us. We can always count on a delicious meal in a very lovely atmosphere at Alex's Bistro.”

• I liked how the staffs that worked there was very friendly and the food were great.
• Nothing bad.

“The Peking Dynasty restaurant is a very friendly and clean restaurant. The staffs are all nice; the food is really good and clean. Good for lunch and dinner menus. Dont judge the outside of the restaurant, the inside is all clean and well done. I would give this restaurant A +.”

“My experience was very pleasant. The food was terrific and the service was good. I think the traffic for this restaurant is low due to the location. I happened in there kind of accidentally but have been back several times since. Access is easy enough from 270 but it needs more signage.”

• Pick up pizza just by the slice when stopping by.
• Sometimes greasy isn't good.

“Great Pizza and Subs. Can get pizza by the slice if you're just stopping by or you can order ahead for carry-out or delivery. Pizza is very greasy but also very good. On the south side of Ohio State University Campus. No room to eat there.”

“My husband and I got a coupon book and it had don Parmesans listed. Neither one of us had ever been there and decided to give it a try. I, being a restaurant snob decided to check out reviews on the internet before we packed up our two boys. Let me tell you the reviews made me think twice about going. I read about terrible service and rude wait staff. My husband said lets just try it. I said fine. So off the four of us went. We arrived in the parking lot at 5:45 p.m. on a Friday night. Not a single car. I wanted to turn around but with two hungry kids we didnt. I am glad we stayed. We were greeted right away and had our pick of tables. Our waitress brought over kid activities with crayons and markers. Our service was excellent and our bread was fresh and hot. Our dinners were also delicious. I did mention to our waitress about the negative things I had seen on the internet and was told the restaurant was bought last May. I told her I was coming home and writing a review about the friendly service and the great food. Take it from a restaurant snob I will be back.”

• Amazing Sushi, try a Spicy Scallop Roll and a Spider Roll for Apps!
• A little too brightly light for an intimate date.

“Awesome Sushi! Always the freshest fish expertly prepared. Cooked dishes are authentic and delicious. Judge an ethnic restaurant by its patrons. You will find this place continually packed with Japanese families. Sit at the Sushi Bar and tell Mickey Mouse and don't forget to feed Godzilla!”

• The food is well worth the visit!
• The bar area could use some work.

“The exterior would not draw in a crowd, however when you walk inside you feel as though you have walked into a fine dining restaurant straight out of the godfather. The service is great, the food is mouth watering, and the price is not outrageous. There is a piano player that plays through the entire meal, but is not overbearing. Overall this is a place you must visit!”

“My girlfriend and I went about 6 on Tuesday night the 31st. The lunch sign was the only thing we saw and decided to try it, for something new (we pulled in the parking lot planning on going to outback). So we went in and it was 5 minutes before anyone came to seat us. There were only two other couples in the entire place, so it¿s not like it was slammed busy. The guy that seated us said almost nothing, didn¿t give us a clue as to if anyone was going to help us or not and just left. Anyway the waitress was great; the bread/oil combo was delicious and warming on a cold night. Our waitress took out orders and got our drinks in good time; she had a friendly attitude and was pleasant/easy to work with. My girlfriend got the tortellini primavera and wedding soup and I got the veal Napoleon and house salad/dressing, both was delicious. Every single veggie and piece of meat was cooked perfectly in mine and the red sauce was amazingly delicious. Once again the bread was delicious as was the oil/seasoning/spice combo with it. We will go again, for the food, but hope to get better reception/communication upon arrival. First impressions mean everything and I believe they could attach more customers via word of mouth through a great greeting experience. ”

• Unlike any pizza I have ever tasted.
• The interior could use a woman¿s touch.

“I have traveled coast to coast, top to bottom. Rubino's has a unique pie that tastes unlike anything your taste buds will encounter anywhere in America. Family owned. They make everything from scratch including the sausage. You don¿t find many pizza shops that still do that. The restaurant hasn¿t changed much in the 50 years it¿s been in business but you can count on flavorful ingredients made with heart, from scratch. It¿s a must have Columbus taste.”

• The food and family atmosphere were wonderful.
• Sometimes it gets too busy and the family is short staffed.

“It's not the Best restaurant in Ohio, but I believe it's the best Chinese restaurant. It's not entirely too fancy as others and not mundane as a typical buffet. Go in, meet the family and try some of the best Chinese Columbus has to everything from General Tso's to Phad Thai noodles is unbelievably delicious.”

• Horrible service, rude manager.

“A little after lunch time this past Saturday, I visited this restaurant with friend of mine. We were the only people in the restaurant and were only ordering one meal, a salmon Caesar salad. It took almost 30 minutes to get the salad and our waiter was no where to be found during the entire meal. As we were eating a table of 6 entered the restaurant so it wasn't like they were busy. My friend went to the restroom and our waiter finally decided to check on us. I asked for the bill and as my friend came out of the restaurant, she was rudely addressed by the waiter that if there were any problems we needed to talk to him. Apparently my friend mentioned the horrible service to another waitress who was in the restroom. We asked to see a manager and, after being laughed at in our faces, we were told our waiter was the manager and owner which I find hard to believe because of his rudeness. It is very sad because I had actually raved to my friend about the restaurant earlier that afternoon and told her how great their food was. We will never return and will tell everyone about the horrendous service we received.”

• Start to finish, a wonderful experience.
• The only thing negative is it's a six hour drive from Chicago.

“I am a lover of great restaurants, and have the good fortune to do a great deal of travel thanks to my job. When I was recently in Columbus to see Cirque du Soleil, some friends took me to the Refectory. I could barely stop eating to say a word because the food was so amazing. The wine list was one of the best I've seen in the U.S. The service was wonderful, and the staff was down to earth and friendly. The atmosphere was unbelievable. My wife and I are considering flying to Columbus just to eat there. Try the rack of lamb.”

• We were freezing because the room was so cold. We waited an hour for a table near the front doors.
