Parasson's Italian Restaurant

• Skylights are nice.
• Everything.

“If you are looking for a tasty, quality, bang for your buck type of restaurant, this is not your place. The spaghetti sauce has no higher grade than something served at a hospital or nursing home. This wouldn't be a problem if they were priced accordingly. Plan to pay around $7-$8 for low-grade Pasta Sauce over hard, dried out noodles with a portion fit for a toddler. The only thing they have going for them is the Garlic Bread. But it is nothing you can't pick up in your local grocery store usually in a box titled Texas Toast. If you want good Italian cuisine, or simply a quality meal for a decent price, look elsewhere.”

• I actually cant think of anything.

“This business has the best pizza in Akron and has been in the area for almost 50 years. Ive never had better pizza anywhere else! Try it out for yourself!”

“If you want to find Akron in a nutshell, this is the place. Dirty, cheap and rough people. Incredibly cheap drinks, but not nice help. Place is pretty filthy and animals roam free within the bar. Seems like everyone knows each other and if they don't know you, it's bad news. If you've showered/shaved within the last two days, avoid this place!”

• Poor service, over priced, bad smell.

“Complaint is that there is an unpleasant aroma in certain sections of this diner I understand that this is an older diner, and I love that about this historical sight but the smell in unavoidable, and needs to be taken care of immediately!”

• This store has great service and food is outstanding.
• I wish there were more stores when traveling.

“This store particularly is an outstanding restaurant. Every time I go in, I get great service and the food is awesome. I understand they make most of their food from scratch. The store in Akron is extremely efficient and clean as I have been going their during the past year. In the fall and winter they have the fireplace roaring with candles lit at the tables, talk about romantic or comfort ability. I would recommend this place to take your family any day of the week. I'm certain they'll take great care of you. WOW, to the retail merchandise. I could not believe how many things they have available in the shop. The store is huge. You walk through the retail store to get to the huge restaurant. Great job.”

• Authentic Chinese food, simply delicious.
• I eat so much that my stomach hurts. The food is just that good.

“I love Ni's Dynasty. It is the only place in North East Ohio where you can get authentic Chinese-American and authentic Chinese dishes. They have everything from American, Chinese and Mongolian barbeque. Everyone is friendly. My family is from Upstate New York and every time they visit they always want to go there! All of my Asian friends rate it a 10/10 scale! Awesome food.”

• Great authentic Chinese food.
• It's so good I eat until my stomach hurts!

“I love NI's Dynasty. It is the only buffet in NE Ohio that has both Chinese American and authentic Chinese food. They have everything from American, Chinese, and Mongolian Barbeque. We live an hour away and try to go there at least once a month, any excuse to go we're there. My family lives in Upstate New York and they always want to eat there when they visit. All of my Asian friends give it a 10/10 rating!”

• Better than McDonalds.
• Nothing compared to Swensons.

“Save yourself the indigestion and go to Swensons! I have been to Swensons many times and had never tried skyway, and there was a reason! I finally tried skyway and found their food to be a second rate Swensons, the buns were soggy, the meat was greaser and saltier, and the mushrooms tasted like they were cooked in with shrimp. I wish I had just stuck with Swensons.”

• Can't think of any negatives.

“Food always hot/warm when we eat 4 pm. Wide selection. Tasty. My Russian wife really likes it. Usually quiet and not crowded.”

“I stopped in Akron Family Restaurant recently, and was pleasantly surprised by the changes since the expanded the site. The atmosphere was modern and bright. The food and service were as I remembered before the expansion, great food and friendly service. There is more parking now, and it is a great place to take large groups of people. The prices are very reasonable.”

• Easy to find. Free parking.
• Poor service and presentation, unremarkable food for the price.

“The tangier bills itself as a premier dining experience, and while it looks the part (complete with a recessed main dining area), it offers unfriendly service and unremarkable food. The hostess in the entryway greeted us with a frown, and the server forgot major parts of our order. The food, while acceptable, seemed hastily thrown together. While live music is advertised, the main dining area must listen to pop radio standards. This experience is not worth the money...”

“Without a doubt, the best pizza in Akron. I no longer live in Akron, but make the 40min drive once or twice a month for their "roadki11" pizza. Well worth a visit.”

“Wonderful, casual, pub like restaurant. Small, dimly lit, cozy ambiance, frequented by many "locals" wait staff is very friendly. Good food very reasonably priced. A place reminiscent of "cheers", you may expect to see "norm" show up at any time!”

• Lots of unique variety of foods.
• With big variety - you may wait for a dish to come out -(not long).

“Best Chinese in area for the unique Hong Kong dishes. Lots of variety for your money. If you like to sample new foods - this is the place! If you prefer the standard Chinese buffet foods - they are here too with a nice mix of American foods.”

• Cold food no customer service skills

“I went in on a Monday night and the food was cold and had sat on cool steam table. The manager stated they have a microwave and I should have ask for it. It was 8:15 and they close at 9pm she stated I was wrong the food is hot. I ask her what she would do she stated nothing I suggest for the 3person w/me I should pay half on the cold experience she stated then she would give us 10% off the total bill I paid the bill. Also to let her know I would not dine in her establishment again!!!!”

• Bathroom's are filthy and service poor.

“I found the atmosphere to be bad and very loud! I was ticked at the man in charge [If you can call it that] MGT !My food was cold and greasy. I found a bug near my computer. ”

• Great food, fun to watch the cook, very reasonable prices
• semi-private seating, limited menu, cramped parking

“They only have 6 or 7 entrees, but all are delicious. Also, the Grill/tables seat 8, and they fill each with customers, so you'll dine with strangers, but this is a great place to eat. It's even kid friendly!”
